Format: [Gen 9] VGC 2024 Regulation H

Prize: Cash Prize (Amount Determined by Total Number of Participants) & Grassroot Points (GP) used to qualify for The Grand Grassroots Cup (Invitational Only Event, Free Entry, Huge Prize Pool)

Please specify which username is your limitless one, as this is what will be added to the list of players who are eligible to register, and specify which is your discord one, as this is what will be used to contact you in case you win the event!

In an effort to Promote Transparency in our league, here is a breakdown of what your Entry Fee goes towards:

Entry Fee Breakdown
• Total: $10 USD
• $6 is put toward this event’s prize pool
• $2 goes the Grand Grassroots Cup Prize Pool
• $2 goes to Organizers/Staff

The 2024-2025 Grand Grassroots Circuit Season will span from September 2024 - April 2025

This will be 1 of 6 North American Regionals in the Grand Grassroots Circuit. Each Region will host 6 Regional Events & 1 International Event per season. You may participate in any of these events, as points carry over from region to region. YOUR BEST 4 REGIONAL FINISHES AND BEST 1 INTERNATIONAL FINISH ARE THE ONLY EVENTS COUNTED TOWARDS YOUR INVITE.

We follow the Grand Grassroots Circuit (GGC) Rules.

By participating in this event, you are agreeing to abide by the Grand Grassroots Circuit Tournament Rulebook

By participating in this event, you are agreeing to abide by the Grand Grassroots Circuit Inclusion Policy

Here are some of the most important rules to keep in mind.

1. TREAT EVERYONE WITH RESPECT. There is a ZERO TOLERANCE policy for unsportsmanlike conduct
2. Make sure your teamsheets are correct. If there is more than one error on your teamsheet, you will be automatically DQ'ed. If you have one error, you must notify your opponent before the first game of your set begins, otherwise it is a set loss.
3. TAKE A SCREENSHOT IF YOU DISCONNECT. If you do not take a sc of your disconnect code, you will receive a game loss, even if you weren't the cause of the disconnect.
4. Do not report wins early. Only report wins after each game has concluded. Allow the timer to Auto-Resolve the match if you opponent hasn't checked in (Example: Don't self report G1 & G2 Wins in the last minute).
5. REQUEST A JUDGE IF THERE ARE ANY ISSUES DURING THE TOURNAMENT, OR IF YOU HAVE ANY QUESTIONS

Number of rounds is determined by the total number of participants. The format is as follows:

Total Participants: Under 16 Players
• 4 Swiss Rounds
• Final Cut: Top 4

Total Participants: 17-32 Players
• 5 Swiss Rounds
• Final Cut: Top 4/Top 8

Total Participants: 33-64 Players
• 6 Swiss Rounds
• Final Cut: Top 8/Top 16

Total Participants: 65-128 Players
• 7 Swiss Rounds
• Final Cut: X-2 Record or Better

Total Participants: 129-256 Players
• 8 Swiss Rounds
• Final Cut: X-2 Record or Better

SAME DAY TOP CUT!

To Qualify for the Grand Grassroots Cup Invitational, you will need to earn 40 Grassroot Points during the season across your 4 Best Regional Finishes and 1 Best International Finish! Points for placement are based on the total number of participants from the start of the tour. The format is as follows:

Total Participants: Under 32 Players
• 1st Place: 20 Points
• 2nd Place: 15 Points
• 3rd & 4th Place: 10 Points

Total Participants: 33-64 Players
• 1st Place: 30 Points
• 2nd Place: 15 Points
• 3rd & 4th Place: 12 Points
• 5th - 8th Place (If Top 8 Cut): 8 Points

Total Participants: 65-128 Players
• 1st Place: 40 Points + Automatic Invite to the Grand Grassroots Cup
• 2nd Place: 25 Points
• 3rd & 4th Place: 20 Points
• 5th - 8th Place (If Top 8 Cut): 15 Points
• 9th - 16th Place (If Top 16 Cut): 10 Points

Total Participants: 129-256 Players
• 1st Place: 50 Points + Automatic Invite to the Grand Grassroots Cup
• 2nd Place: 40 Points + Automatic Invite to the Grand Grassroots Cup
• 3rd & 4th Place: 30 Points
• 5th - 8th Place (If Top 8 Cut): 15 Points
• 9th - 16th Place (If Top 16 Cut): 10 Points
• 17th - 32th Place (If Top 32 Cut): 8 Points
• DNF: 0 Points

The total prize pool is determined based off the total number of participants. The total prize pool can be determined by doing: 6 x Total Number of Participants (after Round 1 is paired)

Total Participants: Under 128 Players
• 1st Place: 50% of the Prize Pool
• 2nd Place: 25% of the Prize Pool
• 3rd & 4th Place: 12.5% of the Prize Pool

Total Participants: 129-256 Players
• 1st Place: 40% of the Prize Pool
• 2nd Place: 20% of the Prize Pool
• 3rd & 4th Place: 20% of the Prize Pool (10% Each)
• 5th - 8th Place (If Top 8 Cut): 20% of the Prize Pool (Split 4 Ways, 5% each)
