Welcome! Please read the tournament details below.
This is one in a series of 10 free events celebrating PTCGO League's 2-Year Anniversary. We are playing a variety of different custom formats from the league's first two years. Click Here for more information about the series.
Register for the tournament & submit your decklist here on Limitless prior to the start of the event.
The ENTRY CODE to register for this event can be found on the PTCGO League Discord Server. Look in the #entry-codes channel under the 2-Year Anniversary header. We use Discord to communicate with one another during the tournament, so you must be present there or you will not be included in the event.
IMPORTANT: This is NOT a live event! It features 4-day rounds, meaning once a round is paired all players will have 4 days to complete the match with their opponent. Players are responsible for timely contact with their opponent to coordinate a time to play. If you are missing matches/check-ins or are non-responsive to messages from your opponents, you may be dropped without warning at the organizer's discretion.
This is a modified Unlimited format. You may use any cards available in PTCGO provided they meet the criteria below.
POKEMON
You must use only cards which represent "Starter Pokemon" and their Evolution lines.
See graphic below for a list of Pokemon that are considered "starters" for this event:
You may use Pokemon from the same evolution line as the Pokemon listed above; meaning any Pokemon that "evolves from" the Pokemon above are also legal.
Examples:
Pikachu is listed, therefore its evolved forms Raichu and Alolan Raichu are also allowed.
Torchic is listed, therefore its evolved forms Combusken and Blaziken are also allowed.
You may also use up to 4 Rule Box Pokemon (such as EX, GX, V, etc) that represent a Pokemon from a starter evolution line.
Examples: Pikachu EX, Blaziken GX, Raichu BREAK
Variants of eligible Pokemon are allowed provided they meet all the criteria stated above.
Examples: Detective Pikachu, Flying Pikachu V, Lance's Charizard V
Banned: TAG TEAM , VMAX, and V-UNION Pokemon are NOT allowed.

ENERGY
No Restrictions! All Basic & Special Energy are legal for this event.
SWISS (BO3) with 4-Day Rounds. Players will have four days to complete their match against each opponent.
You MUST check in on Limitless and contact your opponent within the first 24 hours of the round or you will receive the loss.
Wins are worth 3 pts; tie/draws are worth 1 pt.
Intentional draws are allowed for scheduling conflicts. Any matches without results reported by end of the round will be scored a tie. If there is no sign of activity you will be dropped.
Deck Sharing ON: The Deck List Sharing feature must always be turned ON in the game settings.
Match Timers ON: When you challenge your opponent you must always enable the Timed Match option.
Going First/Second: The winner of the coin flip decides who goes first for Game 1. For Games 2 & 3 in best-of-three matches, the loser of the prior game gets to decide who goes first. (In cases where the winner of the previous game wins the coin flip and selects the wrong option by accident, the opponent is entitled to request a restart of the affected game).
Wrong Deck Selected: If a player chooses the wrong deck by accident, they must declare so immediately before any actions are taken. If Deck Sharing is on, the opposing player should be able to verify that the deck was in fact incorrect and the game should be replayed. If any conditions above are not met, the result is a game loss.
Illegal Decklist: If a player is discovered to have submitted a deck that does not comply with the rules, they will be dropped from the event without exception. It is the player’s responsibility to submit a legal decklist in advance; no changes of any kind are allowed once the event has started.
Disconnections/Leaving a Game: In the event of a disconnect, the timer will continue to run while the player attempts to reconnect. If the game ends the match due to inactivity or a player leaves the game for any other reason, it is considered a game loss.
Incomplete Matches: At the end of a scheduled round, any incomplete matches will be scored a tie. If you feel that you made a more reasonable effort to play, please notify the organizer and the situation will be reviewed.
Need Help?: Please notify the organizer immediately if you have any concerns. Use the Request a Judge button here on Limitless or get in touch with @rabidragon on our league's Discord.
