Welcome! Please read the tournament details below.

This is one in a series of 10 free events celebrating PTCGO League's 2-Year Anniversary. We are playing a variety of different custom formats from the league's first two years. Click Here for more information about the series.

Play

Register for the tournament & submit your decklist here on Limitless prior to the start of the event.

The ENTRY CODE to register for this event can be found on the PTCGO League Discord Server. Look in the #entry-codes channel under the 2-Year Anniversary header. We use Discord to communicate with one another during the tournament, so you must be present there or you will not be included in the event.

IMPORTANT: This is NOT a live event! It features 4-day rounds, meaning once a round is paired all players will have 4 days to complete the match with their opponent. Players are responsible for timely contact with their opponent to coordinate a time to play. If you are missing matches/check-ins or are non-responsive to messages from your opponents, you may be dropped without warning at the organizer's discretion.

DeckRules

Modified Expanded. In addition to the requirements below, your deck must be legal in the TCG's Expanded format.

POKEMON

Every Pokemon in your deck must have a +, -, or x symbol in its attack damage.

A Pokemon is legal if at least one of its attacks meets the criteria above.

TRAINERS

Every Trainer card in your deck must have a number in its card text.

Example: Cynthia is legal for this event because its card text includes the number 6.

You may NOT have more than one Trainer card name with the same number in its card text. (You can still play up to 4 copies of the Trainer card names that are in your deck).

Example: If you choose to play Cynthia in your deck, then you cannot play any other Trainer card names with the number 6 in their card text. So you could not play Brock's Grit, Max Elixir, etc.

ENERGY

All basic energy is allowed. Special Energy is NOT allowed.

Structure

SWISS (BO3) with 4-Day Rounds. Players will have four days to complete their match against each opponent.

You MUST check in on Limitless and contact your opponent within the first 24 hours of the round or you will receive the loss.

Wins are worth 3 pts; tie/draws are worth 1 pt.

Intentional draws are allowed for scheduling conflicts. Any matches without results reported by end of the round will be scored a tie. If there is no sign of activity you will be dropped.

Policies

Deck Sharing ON: The Deck List Sharing feature must always be turned ON in the game settings.

Match Timers ON: When you challenge your opponent you must always enable the Timed Match option.

Going First/Second: The winner of the coin flip decides who goes first for Game 1. For Games 2 & 3 in best-of-three matches, the loser of the prior game gets to decide who goes first. (In cases where the winner of the previous game wins the coin flip and selects the wrong option by accident, the opponent is entitled to request a restart of the affected game).

Wrong Deck Selected: If a player chooses the wrong deck by accident, they must declare so immediately before any actions are taken. If Deck Sharing is on, the opposing player should be able to verify that the deck was in fact incorrect and the game should be replayed. If any conditions above are not met, the result is a game loss.

Illegal Decklist: If a player is discovered to have submitted a deck that does not comply with the rules, they will be dropped from the event without exception. It is the player’s responsibility to submit a legal decklist in advance; no changes of any kind are allowed once the event has started.

Disconnections/Leaving a Game: In the event of a disconnect, the timer will continue to run while the player attempts to reconnect. If the game ends the match due to inactivity or a player leaves the game for any other reason, it is considered a game loss.

Incomplete Matches: At the end of a scheduled round, any incomplete matches will be scored a tie. If you feel that you made a more reasonable effort to play, please notify the organizer and the situation will be reviewed.

Need Help?: Please notify the organizer immediately if you have any concerns. Use the Request a Judge button here on Limitless or get in touch with @rabidragon on our league's Discord.
