In the Magikarp Jump series, all players are limited to just 4 copies of Magikarp and 4 Water Energy. You'll use Trainer cards to differentiate your deck from the other players and gain a competitive advantage. The available pool of Trainers will be adjusted with each new event. This is a casual series for players looking to have fun and flip some coins!

DECK RULES
Each player starts with the following cards:
- 4x Magikarp (SVI 044/198)
- 4x Basic Water Energy
Deck Base (for import): https://pastebin.com/g6j1ffpm
The rest of your deck will consist of 52 Trainers chosen from a pre-determined list of cards provided below. You’ll have 111 credits to spend, and you should use them for what you believe to be the best possible combination of Trainers to allow you to build a winning deck.
- Platinum cards cost 4 credits.
- Gold cards cost 3 credits.
- Silver cards cost 2 credits.
- Bronze cards cost 1 credit.
Those prices above are for a single copy of the card. For example, if you want 4 copies of a “Gold” card, you’d need to spend 12 credits. You can buy cards in any combination you like, but you must spend no more than 111 credits in total, and you must buy exactly 52 cards to complete your decklist.

TOURNAMENT POLICIES
3-Day Rounds / 24-Hour Check In: Once a new round is paired all players will have 3 days to complete the match with their opponent. You MUST complete check in and initiate contact with your opponent within the first 24 hours. If you are missing matches/check-ins or are non-responsive to messages from your opponent, you may be dropped without warning at the organizer's discretion.
Game Loss Due to Connectivity/App Issues or Player Mistakes: It is league policy that each game that is initiated should count toward the match outcome. Some unfortunate situations may arise during gameplay — a player’s game may end or become unresponsive due to internet or app issues, the player may choose the wrong deck, etc. In those cases, that player should accept the game loss.
Incomplete Matches: At the end of a scheduled round, any incomplete matches will be automatically scored a double loss (or tie where applicable). If one player was primarily responsible for the match not being completed (examples: lack of reasonable communication, insufficient availability to schedule a the match, etc), the organizer is permitted to give their opponent the victory.
Illegal Decklist: If a player is discovered to have submitted a deck that does not comply with the rules, they will be dropped from the event without exception. It is the player’s responsibility to submit a legal decklist in advance; no changes of any kind are allowed once the event has started.
Family Friendly Community: We welcome players of all ages. You are expected to conduct yourself appropriately and keep discussions polite. Inappropriate content in the form of usernames, language used in chat, or in any other context is subject to removal from the event.
