  • Wrong Deck Game 1: If you load in with the wrong deck, drop your basic, take a screenshot, concede, and call a judge before pressing Ready.

⚠️ Issues, Ties & FAQ

🌐 General Rules & Reporting

🔌 Disconnects & Technical Issues
The player who receives the Victory Screen inside the TCG Pocket app is officially awarded the win, regardless of how the disconnect occurred.
⚖️ Disputes & Evidence
Always take screenshots of your victory screens or any errors that pop up. If there is a dispute regarding match reporting, you must submit your photographic evidence to a judge via the tournament dashboard.
🃏 Day 2 Deck Changes
No. The exact deck you submit before Day 1 officially starts is strictly locked for the entire duration of the 2-day event.

🛡️ Day 1 Swiss: Tie Resolution

*Match Reporting Reminder: A GAME TIE is recorded as both players receiving a GAME WIN.
⏱️ Early & Late Ties (Games 1 & 2)
  • 1️⃣ Early Tie: If Game 1 ended in a TIE, the winner of Game 2 is declared the MATCH WINNER.
  • 2️⃣ Late Tie: If Game 2 ends in a TIE after a conclusive Game 1, the winner of Game 1 is declared the MATCH WINNER.
📸 Game 3 Tie (1-1 Match Score)
If Game 1 and Game 2 each had a different winner (making the match score 1-1), and Game 3 ends in a TIE, players are required to screenshot the final tie screen. You must provide this proof to a judge to officially verify the match as a draw.
🤝 Intentional Draws
Intentional ties are ONLY allowed if both players are already in contention for top cut. A judge may be requested to approve the match tie before it is submitted.

💡 Pro Tip: You have no obligation to play your remaining rounds if you are already mathematically eligible for the Top Cut. It is generally much better to safely record a tie than to risk taking a loss!

⚔️ Day 2 Single Elim: Tie Resolution

⏱️ Early & Late Ties (Games 1 & 2)
  • 1️⃣ Early Tie: If Game 1 ended in a TIE, the winner of Game 2 is declared the MATCH WINNER.
  • 2️⃣ Late Tie: If Game 2 ends in a TIE after a conclusive Game 1, the winner of Game 1 is declared the MATCH WINNER.
🪙 Game 3 Tie (Inconclusive Bracket Match)
The rare case of a Game 3 ending in a TIE does not help progress the Single Elimination Bracket. Because additional games will hold up the tournament schedule, if the match-up is what the caster's determine to be an "immortal match up" i.e Oriocoro vs any heal tech EX a coin flip will decide the winner. If it is a game that doesn't hit turn 30 and the match itself is being streamed, the players may be asked to play a 4th game to determine a winner. Please remember the event of a tie isn't very common so to maintain the integrity of the content discretion will be used heavily.

  • 📞 Starting the Process: Immediately call a Judge to approve this process. The judge will specify exactly how they want to observe the outcome (via stream watch, screenshot submission, etc.).
  • 💥 Deciding the Winner: The coin used will be the standard digital coin that the TCG Pocket application uses to start a game. The player who flips HEADS will be declared the match winner.
