📜 Decklist & Event Check-In
- Submission: All players must submit their deck list through Limitless before the event begins.
- Lock-in: This is the only deck permitted for the entire tournament.
- Integrity: If you notice an opponent using a deck that does not match their submission, call a judge immediately.
- Tournament Check-In: Opens 1 hour before the start time.
- Players who do not check in will be removed after round 2 automatically (late registration defaults to an automatic loss).
⏱️ Round Procedures
- Check-In Window: Each Swiss round has a 4-minute window.
- No-Shows: If an opponent doesn't message or search for match within 5 minutes after both players check in, contact a judge.
- Reporting: Results must be reported accurately on Limitless.
- Proof: Players are responsible for keeping a screenshot of their match results.
- Streaming: No streaming or screen sharing is required for any portion of the event. For now.
⚖️ Technical Issues & Ties
- BO1 Ties: Recorded as a tie; both players receive 1 point.
- BO3 Ties: If a game ties during a BO3, that specific game is replayed.
- Disconnects: The player who receives the Victory Screen is awarded the win.
- Game Errors: * If a game fails to load, restart.
- If a "blank game history" occurs, take a screenshot and report to a judge (no one wins).
- Intentional Ties: Only allowed during the final Swiss round.
🛡️ Conduct & Judge Support
- Requesting Help: Use Limitless chat or Discord to call a judge.
- Evidence: Always take a timestamped screenshot of your Victory Screen.
- If neither player has valid evidence, the match will be ruled a Double Game Loss (DGL).
- Behavior: Harassment or cheating will result in immediate removal. Please maintain respect for all participants and staff.
❓ Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
Q: Can I change my deck or energy between Swiss and Top Cut?
A: No. The decklist you submit at the start of the tournament is locked for the entire duration of the event. Same with Energy.
Q: What happens if I miss the 4-minute check-in window?
A: You will be awarded a game loss for that round. If you miss multiple check-ins, you may be dropped from the tournament.
Q: I won my match, but my opponent reported a win for themselves. What do I do?
A: Immediately call a judge and provide your timestamped screenshot of the Victory Screen.
Q: Do I have to be in the Discord to play?
A: While not always mandatory, it is highly recommended for real-time judge support and tournament announcements.
