We are lanakila.vg - an alola-inspired small-scale competitive project! We're here to invite you to join our first beginner-friendly Pokemon Champions tournament! Let's celebrate new are of VGC with some awesome battles! You can learn more about us here and here!

The goal of this event is not to determine a winner, but to gain experience and learn the fundamentals of tournament play. The event runs at a relaxed pace and is a good opportunity to play your first matches and ask questions. Doesn't matter how many players will sign-in we will be playing 3 Rounds of Swiss Bo3. No Top Cut.

• Regulation M-A;
• 3 Rounds of Swiss Bo3
• Open Team Sheets;
• Round Time: 60min (Swiss)
• Round Check-in: 5min;
• Tour Check-in: 15min;

• We don't expect you to know everything upfront;
• You must check-in to the tournament;
• You must also check-in before each of the swiss rounds;
• You must submit your team sheet before deadline;
• You should always take screenshots as a proof of your wins;
• Effects of unexpected bugs are considered individually;
• All technical issues and game crashes issues will be treated as a Game Losses;
• If you got disconnected the game allows you to reconnect if you're fast enough;
• Player with the win screen will be declared winner;
• We highly recommend joining our Discord for tournament communication;

Throughout the tournament, New Player Experience (NPE) support will be available.
NPE is here to help with:

• tournament procedures;

• Limitless navigation;

• general event questions.

  If you're new, returning, or unsure how Limitless works — don't worry. We're here to help you get started and enjoy the tournament.

There are no traditional prizes in this tournament. However a few days after the tournament, we will host a follow-up meeting on Discord. During the meeting:

• we will review selected matches;
• analyze player decisions;
• answer questions.

Participation is optional and open to everyone. However, we will focus on matches played during the tournament, and participants will have priority. Anyone is welcome to join and listen.
