Mount Lanakila
About us
Mount Lanakila hopes to become an international hub for competitive Pokemon players. We want to create a small community, whose members will improve their skills together, test themselves in battles and, above all, enjoy the fights. But don’t be fooled! It won’t be that friendly at all! Competition will remain Lanakila’s main theme. Blood will be shed after unlucky misses, tears will flow because of three Charizards in the prizes, and finally the first cries of victory will be heard!
Mount Lanakila is intended to be a long-term project. We are planning a number of tournaments, on a larger and smaller scale. For fun and with prizes. We will focus primarily on TCG and VGC, although occasionally we will enjoy some smogon formats at Showdown. We are aiming for monthly tournaments, but we'll try to keep our discord community entertained. To find out more information, check our website, which is available in english, polish and spanish. You can also join our discord.
Why "Mount Lanakila"?
In fact, we're trying to create something from the beginning, based only on our passion. Similar to Professor Kukui, who, both in the games and the anime, initiated the creation of the first Alolan Pokemon League. We want to step into his shoes and, like him, try to interest others in competitive modes in Pokemon productions. The entire website is also kept in “alolan” atmosphere. You will find a lot of references to Alola Region, its Guardian Deities, legends and beliefs.
We started as a small group of polish players, that enjoyed playing together and compete in tournaments. We were fighting over fame, glory and prizes and now we're want to broaden our horizons. Thats why we are going international, and you all are invited to accompany us on this wonderful alolan journey! Lanakila means victory in Hawaiian. We are at the foot of Victory Mountain. Will we be able to climb at the very top?
Join us to find out! ^^
