Rules
Check in: Check in will open 1 hour before the event starts. If you do not check in within this hour, you will be issued a game loss.
Discord: Joining our discord is a very good idea, since all judges related problems that aren’t able to be solved inside of limitless will be solved on discord.
Turn Pick During Top Cut: The loser of a top cut match gets to chose who goes first or second. If the winner fails to do so, a the loser automatically goes through to the next round.
Slow Play: Match timers MUST be on during matches, and if you believe your opponent is slow playing, there must be at least an 8 minute time difference between both opponents. Then, request a judge.
Unsportsmanlike Behavior: If your opponent is showing unsportsmanlike behavior, call a judge. If you are caught showing bad sportsmanship, you will be disqualified from the tournament and possibly banned.
Technical Difficulties: If you happen to experience a connection problem, glitch, or something else happens, there is nothing you can do. Unless, your opponent agrees, you can restart the match.
Round End: You MUST report your match result before the round timer ends. If no result is recorded before the timer ends, it ends in a tie. Unless there is a judge interference. We highly encourage everyone take a screenshot of your victory to prove you have won.
Wrong Result Recorded: If your match result was recorded wrong, call a judge. They will only act if there is photo proof of the wrong result recorded.
Tournament Structure
4-8 players: 3 Swiss Rounds
9-32 players: 4 Swiss Rounds
33-64 players: 5 Swiss Rounds
65-128 players: 6 Swiss Rounds + Top Cut
129-256 players: 7 Swiss Rounds + Top Cut
257+ players: 8 Swiss Rounds + Top Cut
Prizing:
1st place: 5 PTCGL Codes
2nd place: 3 PTCGL Codes
3 & 4th place: 1 PTCGL Code
