Oscar’s Oceanic Hangout

Welcome to Oscar’s Oceanic Hangout!

We are an organization that hosts multiple different types of Pokémon TCG tournaments, ranging from casual tournaments to very competitive tournaments. Currently, we have the following series:

Oscar’s Poll Competitions:

These tournaments are very casual, and happen every 2 weeks. These events DO NOT give out prizes! The community in our discord votes on a certain rule for these events, ranging from certain cards being banned to time limits. This structure provides what the community wants, so that the players have control over what type of tournament they want to play in.

Oscar’s Competitive Events:

These tournaments are competitive, hence the name. These events give out prizes, most often PTCGL codes, as well as Oceanic Points (see below). These events take place once every week on Sunday, with a swiss BO1 structure (varying on tournament size).

Oscar’s Special Events:

These tournaments are more competitive than the Oscar’s Competitive Events, having they happen once every 3 months and offer double the rewards and double the amount of Oceanic Points.

Oscar’s Invitational Events:

These tournaments happen once every year during summer, the date being determined with at least a 2 weeks notice before occurring. These events hand out no Oceanic Points, but triple the amount of PTCGL codes, and being crowned and Oscar’s Champion.
