Professor Kai Worlds (PKWorlds) consists of 12 tournaments. These are 9 qualifiers and 3 specials, all of which will award you Professor Kai Points (PKPs) based on your placement.

Qualifiers: Winner gets invite to PKWorlds. Anyone can enter, no player cap.

Specials: Top 4 receive invite to PKWorlds. Code needed to enter*. PKPs won't be awarded if you drop in R1 or R2.

★ Reg D BANNED POKEMON ONLY! Special tournaments will be different to normal tournaments. This tournament will only allow banned Pokemon from Reg D and to be played on Showdown, results recorded on Limitless as usual. Only Pokemon allowed:

★ *As this tournament is a Special, you must contact Professor Kai on Discord to enter. Must have either played in 1 previous PKWorlds tournament OR pay entry (£1 via paypal friends and family, which is non refundable and goes into the prize pool for PKWorlds)

★ Open team sheet.

★ You must join the discord. You’ll get live information for the rounds, results, points awarded, can contact opponents if they haven’t shown up, disputes are able to be resolved faster and rules are easily accessible on the discord.

★ Number of swiss (BO3) rounds will depend on player number, players will be informed of this in the discord.

• 4-7 players > 3 swiss rounds > no top cut
• 8 players > 3 swiss rounds > Finals (top 2)
• 9-16 players > 4 swiss rounds > Top 4
• 17-32 players > 5 swiss rounds > Top 8 (right after swiss)
• 33-64 players > 6 swiss rounds > Top 8 (right after swiss)
• 65-128 players > 7 swiss rounds > Top 16 (day 2 at the same time as day 1)

★ Registration closes 5 mins before the scheduled start time.

★ Please read the rules in the discord to avoid sanctions. The rules are still applicable to you even if you do not read them.

★ After the tournament, those in top cut will have their teams (Pokemon only) posted on the discord and twitter (@KaiTheProfessor)
