DPéC Semester 1 ruleset:

1. Pokemon must have an evolution and have no prior evolution.
2. Pokemon with a Base Stat Total (BST) greater than 385 fall under the restricted list and can not be used in this format. Mythical Pokémon are not allowed.
3. Matches will be in Best of 3. Regular VGC doubles rules applies. Pick 4 of your 6 Pokemon to battle before each match.
4. All Pokemon are set to level 50
5. Item Clause, Species Clause and Dex Number Clause (you can not have a different form of the same Pokemon) applies.
6. The moves Seismic Toss and Night Shade are not allowed in battle, due to first stage evolutions having low base HP.
7. You are allowed to use Pokemon outside the Paldea dex that are already released in-game (Wooper-J, Scorbunny, Froakie, etc)
