Thanks for your interest in PTCGO League's upcoming 1-Hour Challenge special event! This tournament features a unique set of custom "casual" deck rules that will be revealed one hour prior to the start time - and you'll have to construct a decklist within that hour!

Sunday, November 20 Event Timeline

1:00pm EST: Deck Rules will be revealed and decklist submission will open.

2:00pm EST: Decklist submission closes and live gameplay immediately follows (should last about 2.5 hours).

1. Register and Submit your Decklist by the tournament start time. If you have not submitted a legal decklist by the published time, you won't be eligible to participate.

2. Tournament check-in opens 15 minutes before the start time. You'll need to be present and checked in or you won't be paired with an opponent.

Please keep your Dashboard open during the event. It is also important to read the tournament policies below, as all rules will be enforced. It is also recommended that you join the PTCGO League Discord server so that the organizer can get in touch with you before/after the event if necessary. Thank you!

CHOOSE ONE of the two available deck options below: "ROYAL BLAZE" or "ROYAL BLADES".

You must build your deck according to the custom rules below. Be sure your deck meets all criteria detailed on this page and is ready to play by the 2:00pm EST start time.

DECK #1: ROYAL BLAZE (feat. LEON & CHARIZARD)

POKEMON

You must play:

• 4x Charmander
• 4x Charmeleon
• 4x Charizard (at least 2x must have the Royal Blaze attack)
• 2x Your choice of a Basic Fire-type Pokemon
• 2x Your choice of a Stage 1 Fire-type Pokemon that evolves from the Basic Pokemon above.

You may use any Expanded-legal versions of the cards above. No Rule Box Pokemon allowed.

NO additional Pokemon are permitted.

TRAINERS & ENERGY

• 4x Leon
• 40 additional Trainer and Energy cards of your choice.

All Trainers & Energy must be Expanded-legal. No ACE SPEC or Prism Stars allowed.

DECK #2: ROYAL BLADES (feat. CYNTHIA & GARCHOMP)

POKEMON

You must play:

• 4x Gible
• 4x Gabite
• 4x Garchomp (at least 2x must have the Royal Blades attack)
• 2x Your choice of a Basic Dragon-type or Fighting-type Pokemon
• 2x Your choice of a Stage 1 Dragon-type or Fighting-type Pokemon that evolves from the Basic Pokemon above.

You may use any Expanded-legal versions of the cards above. No Rule Box Pokemon allowed.

NO additional Pokemon are permitted.

TRAINERS & ENERGY

• 4x Cynthia
• 40 additional Trainer and Energy cards of your choice.

All Trainers & Energy must be Expanded-legal. No ACE SPEC or Prism Stars allowed.

PHASE 1: Swiss Rounds

• BO1: You'll play a single game against your opponent.
• Rounds are 25 minutes long (any incomplete matches will be scored a loss)
• Top 4 players advance to the next phase.

PHASE 2: Top Cut

• BO1: You'll play a single game against your opponent.
• Rounds are 30 minutes long.

Check In Policy: Players must CHECK-IN within the first 5 minutes of each round. Failure to do so will result in a game loss. In an effort to ensure as many players as possible are paired with active opponents, those who fail to check in may be dropped. If you miss a round by accident but still intend to play in future rounds, it's your responsibility to make the organizers aware that you wish to continue in the event.

Deck Sharing ON: The Deck List Sharing feature must always be turned ON in the game settings.

Match Timers ON: When you challenge your opponent you must always enable the Timed Match option.

Wrong Deck Selected: If a player chooses the wrong deck by accident, they must declare so immediately before any actions are taken. If Deck Sharing is on, the opposing player should be able to verify that the deck was in fact incorrect and the game should be replayed. If any conditions above are not met, the result is a game loss.

Illegal Decklist: If a player is discovered to have submitted a deck that does not comply with the rules, they will be dropped from the event without exception. It is the player’s responsibility to submit a legal decklist in advance; no changes of any kind are allowed once the event has started.

Disconnections/Leaving a Game: In the event of a disconnect, the timer will continue to run while the player attempts to reconnect. If the game ends the match due to inactivity or a player leaves the game for any other reason, it is considered a game loss.
