About this event

In memoriam of Krystal, we are hosting a charity event on their birthday to raise money for Headspace Aus. They were a beloved member of the community, and inspired and gave strength to many in the non-binary and LQBTQ+ community.

This tournament is free and welcome for everyone, regardless of one's gender identity, to enter. We encourage that you donate to Headspace Aus using the Ko-Fi link below.

About Aus Headspace

Headspace is the Australian National Mental Health Foundation, dedicated to providing mental health services to 12-25 year olds across the country. Each year, they help thousands of young people, and their family and friends, access vital support through headspace services in over 145 communities across Australia, online and phone counseling services, vocational services, and presence in schools. With a focus on early intervention, they work with young people to provide support at a crucial time in their lives – to help get them back on track and strengthen their ability to manage their mental health in the future.

Day 1 (July 23rd) Best of 3 Swiss rounds, Top Cut X-2 single elimination bracket played July 24th. In game on Pokemon Sword and Shield using Series 12 format

Communication
Please make sure you have joined the Discord to receive announcements regarding the event. If you are not in the Discord, you may receive a game loss or be disqualified.

Tournament Rules

Pokémon VGC tournament, Pokémon Sword and Shield Series 12 VGC Doubles format. In-game on Pokémon Sword and Shield.

• Check in will begin at 10AM EST July 23rd
• Round 1 will begin at approximately 11AM EST July 24th
• Best of 3, Swiss rounds for Day 1, Top Cut of X-2 advances to Day 2 (2 or less losses)
• Rental teams are allowed
• You may not change or edit your team throughout the tournament
• Contact your opponent through Limitless. If your opponent does not show up and check in within 10 minutes of the round starting, they will automatically lose the set.
• If you or your opponent both appear but forget to check in to the match, call a judge and an admin can reset the match so that neither player loses due to forgetting to check in
