Thanks for your interest in PTCGO League's upcoming Lightning Event! This tournament features a unique set of custom deck rules that will be revealed one hour prior to the event, and you'll have to construct a valid decklist within that hour.

Friday, August 6 Event Timeline

7:00pm EDT: Deck Rules will be revealed. Registration & decklist submission will open.

8:00pm EDT: Decklist submission closes and live gameplay immediately follows.

Only players who have registered and submitted a decklist by the deadline will be included in the event. Other players will automatically be dropped.

Deck Rules

This event’s custom format is the ORDER PAD CHALLENGE

Please read the deck guide below carefully. You are required to use the specific lineup of Trainer Cards provided. Pokemon and Energy options are flexible, with minor restrictions.

NOTE: Your decklist must be legal in the TCG’s Expanded format.

POKEMON: 16
You may use any Pokemon card names of your choice, as long as you adhere to the rules below:

  • Your deck must include a minimum of 8 Basic Pokemon.
  • Your deck must have no more than 2 Pokemon with a Rule Box (Pokemon-EX, GX, V/VMAX, BREAK, and Prism Stars are considered to have Rule Boxes).
  • Tag Team GXs are not permitted in your deck.

TRAINERS: 28
4x Your choice of any Supporter card name.
4x Crushing Hammer
4x Escape Rope
4x Order Pad
4x Rare Candy
4x Repel
4x Ultra Ball

ENERGY: 16
16x Basic Energy of your choice (you may use more than one type).

Gameplay Rules

  • Swiss Rounds w/ 4 Players advancing to Top Cut
  • BO1: You'll play a single game against your opponent (applies to all stages of this event.)
  • Match Timers MUST be ON in game.
  • Rounds are 30 minutes long (any incomplete matches will be scored a tie)
