What is the deal?

This tournament series is all about you making the best out of Monotype-Pokémon-Teams. Your skills in building teams with restricted type-variations are everything we want to see!

Rules

• this series will host 18 different tournaments, one for every typing during the year of 2025
• every tournament will be played online via Pokémon Scarlet and Violet on Nintendo Switch
• the ruleset for every single tournament will be VGC Regulation F
• tournaments will be Bo3 Closed Team Sheet format
• every Pokemon in the squad must share the type that the respective tournaments are built around (6 bug types in the Bug Type League, 6 dark types in the Dark Type League, a.s.o.)
• secondary typings are allowed (also the restricted typing as secondary)
• terastalization to every type you like is allowed
• breaking the rules will result in disqualification for the respective tournament
• multiple rule violations or inappropriate behavior (such as insults) will result in disqualification for the series

Organization

• we will maintain a leaderboard and share it via Google Docs and the series website on Limitless, so you can check your results
• the winner of the whole series will get 20$ (we know, it is not much, it is a symbolic prize)

Content Creators:

We would love to see people making content with the Series. No matter if you stream, do a Sports News Show, Analysis or something else - feel free to do something you like and share your experience with the world! The reason we host this series is our love for niche Pokémon Content and bringing the community together. If we can motivate you to host similar events in the future and bringing some fresh Content online, we will have achieved everything we wanted!

The number of Swiss Rounds is determined by the number of participants:

16 or fewer participants

  17-32 participants

  33-64 participants
