• This event is located at 2150 Burnhamthorpe Rd. W. Mississauga, ON..
• This event has a registration cost of $35CAD online (plus applicable taxes) or $40CAD at the door (plus applicable taxes).

• You can pay $40CAD in person at The Upper Hand to receive your entry code. You will receive an entry code upon paying.
• IRL Registrations will start around 9AM. Players are required to have everything completed before 11AM.
• Registration and Decklist submission end at 11AM. Players are required to have everything completed before 11AM.
• If you register for this event, you will not receive a refund unless the event is cancelled. Players are required to have everything completed before 11AM.
• This event follows the Standard format of Sword and Shield to Brilliant Stars.
• Players must have a legal 60 card deck and proxy cards aren't allowed at this event.
• There will be an appropriate amount of Swiss Rounds based on attendance followed by a Top Cut of 8 players.
• Players can view their opponents deck list on Play Limitless before or after each game (in between games during Best of Three is valid). Players can use their devices to call a judge during their game or can say "Judge" - whichever is easier.
• Swiss Rounds will be 33 mins long, Best of One, and when time is called there will be +3 turns.
• Top Cut Rounds will be 53 mins long, Best of Three, and when time is called there will be +3 turns.
• When time is called during Top Cut Rounds , the winner will be decided by the amount of remaining Prize Cards + Games Won to determine the winner.
• All rulings made by Staff are final and will be made with the players, Staff, and event in mind.
• Deck list submission is Online Only. Please have a capable device to submit your list at the venue if you haven't already. There will be capable devices at the event to help players convert their list into "PTCGO format" for list submission if necessary.
• Players for this event can play foreign cards (ie. Japanese Mew VMAX) if they provide printed translations and have sleeves that cover any different card backings. The card art must be available in English (ie. No Astral Radiance Alternative Arts).

The following Prizing is based on 32 players in attendance for the event. If the event has more than 32 players in attendance, the prizing may scale higher with less prizing. If the event has less than 32 players in attendance, the prizing may scale lower with less prizing. Prizing may not scale 1:1 with entrants to pay for staff and venue costs, but all decisions will be in the best interests of the players.

• 1st Place - $400 Prepaid Credit Card
• 2nd Place - $200 Prepaid Credit Card
• Top 4 - $100 Prepaid Credit Card
• Top 8 - $50 Prepaid Credit Card

Prizing may be exchanged for The Upper Hand Store Credit with an additional 15% bonus for converting.

• It is the players responsibility to show up to each match - failure to do so will result in an automatic Game Loss after 5 mins. For Top Cut it is 5 mins before each individual Game Loss.
• If you show up late to game (less than 5 mins), you will be awarded a loss after time is called.
• Issues and problems during your match will be handled by Tournament Staff - please use the Match Dispute button.
• All players must be friendly to their opponents and to the Tournament Staff - If not, penalties could occur
• All participants are recommended to be in our Discord Server for updates on pairings, event announcements, etc.
• Zach Lesage Events follow the Official Pokémon Rules
• The list of Compendium Rulings will be used to determine rulings.
• Any player who is found breaking rules, cheating, lying to event stuff, bullying, harassing players, etc. will receive penalties
• Any player who are problematic outside of this event (before, during, and after) may not be eligible to play in this event or future events

• This event will comply with Ontario's Covid Guidelines and do everything to keep participants and staff safe.
• Zach Lesage is the Tournament Organizer of this event, but is not associated with The Upper Hand in anyway beyond this collaborative event.
• The Upper Hand will handle all financials for this event and Zach Lesage is in charge of the event.
• If the event is cancelled for any reason, refunds will be processed by The Upper Hand.
