INFORMATION !
Ursiiday is excited to announce the TM32 Pocket Double Deck $10k!
Day 1: Day 1 will be the standard single deck format using the deck submitted through limitless. Some Pokémon are eligible for prizing!
Day 2: Day 2 will be a double deck conquest format. After Day 1 concludes, players that make Day 2 will have to submit two decks in the discord by 12PM EST August 10(an hour before Day 2 begins). No Pokémon may be shared between these two decks. Players will bring the two decks into day 2—when a player wins with one deck, they may not use it again in that Bo3. First to win with both of their decks will win the round.
RULES!
- Deck list Submission: Deck lists must be submitted through Limitless! Only the deck list(s) that you submit can be used in the tournament. On day 1, you must use the deck list submitted through limitless. On Day 2, you must use the two deck lists you submitted in the discord. If you notice that your opponent is using the wrong deck list, please call a judge!
- Rule Sharking is NOT allowed. Sportsmanlike behavior is required at all stages of the tournament and that includes in how you treat your opponent. Trying to ruleshark opponents with things like names being slightly different when you know they are basically the same and card arts being different when they are functionally the same card is against the rules. Don't make more work for judges, and don't be disrespectful to your opponents!
- Check-in for the tournament: Check-in starts an hour before the tournament begins. Players who do not check-in will be dropped from the tournament, but may do late registration.
- Check-in before each round: Check in for each round is the first five minutes, in the first two rounds it will be 7 minutes long. Only check in when you are ready to play. If your opponent does not connect within the five minutes after they check in, make sure to call a judge. That being said, if you are communicating with your opponent and you notice that they have forgotten to check in, make sure to remind them. If both players are communicating in chat but one forgets to check in before time, make sure to call a judge. Delaying games once checked in can lead to penalties.
- Swiss Rounds are BO3 matches: They are 40 minutes long with 5 minutes (7 minutes for the first two rounds) to check-in each round.
- Top Cut is BO3 as well! If you make Top Cut it is required that ALL players join the discord to submit their conquest deck lists for day 2, and that all players stream their matches. Where you stream is up to you, but it must be either in the discord or on a public platform and you must give the judges your room number or link before beginning any Top Cut match. A guide available here. for how to stream to Discord
- Ties: Pokémon Pocket has several ways to get ties, and you may have to call a judge to submit them(this is a DGL, win for both players). However, rounds will also be counted as a tie if the round timer(40 minutes) concludes and players are currently 1-1 in the set. If the BO3 finishes before time is called, but user cannot submit in time, you may call a judge; however, you should have your screenshots ready! If the time concludes before the Bo3 finishes, the current score will be counted (1-0 is a win for the player who has a win in the set).
- Intentional Draws(IDs) are allowed at any time. All you need to do is request a judge. They will confirm BOTH parties have agreed to it. However, coercing you opponent in ANY way to accept an ID is NOT allowed.
- Connection issues may occur. If they happen before the game begins(the game never starts) then users should try again. However, if connection issues occur mid-game, the player with the Victory screen will be given the win.
- Remember to screenshot your victory screen in the case of a match result dispute. In the event of a match result dispute, this time stamped screenshot will be the determining factor.
- Streaming: Players are allowed to stream their games. Players streaming their matches may want to run a delay on their stream to stop viewers from having any advantage. Using an advantage from a stream, be it seeing someone's hand or getting outside advice may lead to penalties. Proven stream sniping will lead to DQ
- Breaking rules, using game exploits, harassment, etc. will result in penalties.
- Tournament Discord: Please join the tournament discord to stay up to date with any announcements including schedule changes. It is required that if needed you are able to communicate with judges through the correct channels in the discord. If asked to stream the top cut, you'll need to be able to do so. There’s a guide available here.
- Day 2 will begin same time on Sunday (1PM EST)
- Contacting Judges: Please only use limitless or public discord channels to talk to judges.
- Be kind and polite to all players as well as your judges. Being rude or not listening to judges may result in penalties. However you may appeal judge rulings to the head judge by requesting them in the limitless chat, but it must be done so politely.
- Use a unique room code: Make sure your room code is unique!
- Your in-game name MUST match what is on your account! If it does not. TELL YOUR OPPONENT WHAT NAME YOU ARE USING BEFORE GAME BEGINS.
- If you get banned from Ursiiday's streams you will be DQ'd from the tournament. Sportsman-like behavior is required in ALL areas of the tournament. This includes the official broadcast and other platforms. If you are banned from the official broadcast then this will extend to the tournament as well and you will be DQ'd.
- Do Not Delay Your Games After Checking In. If you opponent is not showing up after they have checked in, call a judge. For every five minutes they are late without judge's okay will be a game loss. Delaying playing because you're in a different tournament will lead to additional penalties that may result in a DQ.
- Unique Trainer Rewards: Twenty Pokémon have been selected for additional prizing. The player with the highest placement with each Pokémon on Day 1 will receive $100 USD. To be eligible, you must run at least one of the Pokémon, and if it is an evolution you must run the entire evolution line in your deck(i.e., if you're playing Primarina ex, you must play a Brionne and a Popplio as well).
