Pocket Legends League #25
Season 2
The Pocket Legends League is our larger weekend tournament, featuring the main format, no player limit, and takes place over two days.
Check out our Little Legends League for smaller tournaments with special rules.
We require you to join our Discord to participate in our tournaments, which can found here: https://discord.gg/ptcgpt

Phases:
- Phase 1 (Saturday): The first phase of the tournament consists of the Swiss rounds (number of swiss rounds depends on the number of participants) before moving on to Top Cut on Sunday
- Phase 2 (Sunday): Everyone with a record of X-2-1 or better will advance to the Top Cut, but if there are more than 32 such players, only the Top 32 (based on tiebreakers) will move on. If fewer than 32 players meet the points requirement, only they will move on—the remaining spots will not be filled. Additionally If fewer than 16 or 32 players qualify, the top performers will receive a bye in the first round.
Rules:
Decklist Submission: Please submit your decklist here via Limitless. Players who do not submit their list before the tournament starts will be dropped automatically. You can use ExBurst or the Limitless Bulder to create a decklist.
Check-in policy: You must check-in for each match within 5 minutes. Failing to do so will result in an automatic match loss. If you do not check-in after another 5 minutes, you will receive a second match loss. The check-in time for the Top-Cut will be extended to 10 and 15 minutes due to the unpredictable duration of the rounds. If a player forgot to click the "check-in" button but is actively playing the round, this counts as checked-in. Please call a Judge in this case.
Incorrect deck: If you've chosen the wrong deck at the beginning of round 1, do not start to play and restart immediately. Pressing "start play" results in an immediate match loss. Starting from the second offense, a match loss will be assigned each time. Choosing a wrong deck at a later round will result in an immediate match loss from the first offense.
Bugs and Glitches: If you encounter issues like game freezing, internet problems, or crashes, it will result in a match loss for the affected player, unless the game can be continued. If this issue occurs at the beginning of a match (one player can't load into the match), it doesn't count. You can identify this if a screenshot shows 0 turns played.
Game Ties: In the event of an in-game tie, players must start a new game to determine the tiebreaker. The first player to knockout a Pokémon in this tiebreaker game will be declared the winner of the tied game. Once a winner is determined for the tied game, the players may proceed with any remaining games as necessary. If players would like to Intentionally Draw the round , both players must first come to an agreement on this and then you may call a judge to assist you
Completed matches: After completing your matches, please remember to submit the results. Be sure to keep screenshots or a recording of each round in case any disputes arise. Judges can't verify any result without these.
Bad manners and Inappropriate behavior: Players displaying bad manners toward others or staff will receive an immediate game loss. Continued misconduct may lead to disqualification, while further offenses could result in a season-long ban. Bad manners include insults, toxicity, bullying, and harassment.
Streaming: Players are welcome to stream and record their matches on any platform. However, those found guilty of stream sniping or using their opponent's stream for an unfair advantage will face immediate disqualification.
Call a Judge: If you encounter any issues with Limitless, the game or your opponent, please use the "Call a Judge" feature within Limitless. A judge will join your chat and help you with your problem.
Prizing:
A total prize of $50 will be awarded to the top 4:
- 1st: $25
- 2nd: $15
- 3rd & 4th: $5
The top players will earn PLL season points according to the table below.
Season:
The top players in each Pocket Legends League tournament earn season points according to the table below. Each player's individual four top placements are counted toward their ranking.
A season spans the length of one main set, and at the end of the season the top 64 players will be invited to an exclusive tournament to compete for the PLL season title.
