FREE ENTRY - $300 USD CASH Prize Pool!

Chill TCG and GGtoor have partnered up to create a premier - single day event with 100% free entry! - This event follows the standard online tournament structure, with the goal of creating a premier competitive PTCGO experience where all players are welcome!

Play Sunday evening to qualify for the Top Cut bracket - where our Top 8 competitors will be competing for the largest cut of our $300 USD CASH prize pool!!!

This GGtoor sponsored event will be: Standard format (TEU-VIV), open deck list, real-time with BO1 swiss and a BO3 Top 8/16 single elimination bracket.

How To Register

If you fail to follow all of the above steps, you will be dropped from the tournament.

General Information

  • All players are required to be in the ChillTCG Discord Discord Server, where we will post updates about pairings, scheduling, and other information that will be important to the players of the tournament.

  • All questions can be directed towards our tournament staff, and handled on Discord - While disputes during the event will be handled on the tournament limitless page.

  • Players who make it into top 8/16 cut will be expected to screen share their PTCGO game on discord, so they can be featured on our ChillTCG Youtube Channel.

Prizing

GGtoor.com is providing a $300 USD Cash prize pool, paid out as follows:

  • 1st - $100 USD (And also 1,000 shadow credits!)
  • 2nd - $50 USD (And also 500 shadow credits!)
  • 3rd and 4th - $35 USD each (And also 250 shadow credits)
  • 5th through 8th - $20 USD each
  • Everyone who plays earns at least 100 shadow credits (even if they do not earn a Top X prize!)

Swiss Rounds

  • Entry for the tournament is FREE - players are required to enter email, discord ID, and age to register, then join the tournament Discord Server, and submit a valid deck list.

  • Failure to submit a valid deck list along with checking in on time will result in being dropped from the event.

  • Registration ends at 9am EST on Saturday, January 9th - one hour before the event begins.

  • Check in for day #1 will open once registration ends - at 9am EST on Saturday, January 9th.

  • All registration fields must be completed and submitted prior to the beginning of the tournament, to avoid being dropped.

  • Players are required to check in before playing each swiss round match - players will have 5 minutes to check in once the match timer has begun, and failure to check in will result in a loss. (Check in can be found by viewing your match under the pairings tab).

  • Players are expected to record their own match results - and are strongly encouraged to take screenshots of their game for proof of victory in the case that any issues may arise.

  • Players wishing to drop from the tournament at any time during the swiss rounds on day 1 should drop themselves using their dashboard menu on the tournament page (top right of screen).

  • All issues and disputes should be handled on the limitless website - not the discord server (this can be done by clicking "request a judge" within your match page in the pairings tab).

  • All players who accumulate enough points (18) through swiss rounds will move onto phase 2.

  • Phase 2 will be 5 more rounds of swiss - records will carry over.

Top Cut Bracket

  • The top 8 players after phase 2 of swiss will make top cut!

  • Once the top cut bracket has been seeded, Tournament staff will inform each player about the time of their match and when to be ready to play.

  • Top cut will be single elimination - BO3 matches with 60 minute match timers.

-Players must stand by and timely report for their match when called, or they may be issued game loss(es) for tardiness/delay of tournament.

Rules & Regulations

  • Bullying, Harassments, or failure to comply with tournament staff or fellow competitors will not tolerated by any means.

  • Players are required to communicate with their paired opponents, and place themselves into a match in a timely fashion..

  • Players are required to use the same deck list throughout the tournament - If a player make changes to their submitted deck list, they will automatically lose the match.

  • The PTCGO Client can be unpredictable at times - Any disconnections during match, or exploits of bugs/glitches will result in an automatic game loss.

  • Cheating of any kind will result in disqualification without prizes from the event, and being banned from all future events. If you are in a match where you believe your opponent cheated, please send any evidence you may have to the tournament staff. In addition to Hacking, "CHEATING" ALSO INCLUDES USING ANY BUG OR UNINTENDED EXPLOIT THAT EXISTS IN THE GAME, intentionally or unintentionally. If this somehow happens to you unintentionally, you should immediately alert your opponent and tournament staff - if you don't, you will be deemed to have been Cheating, and you will be disqualified without prizing and banned from all future events.

  • Sportsmanlike conduct is expected. You are NOT allowed to be disruptive or grief your opponent in Real Life, such as in any Discord or Twitch chat (or any other actions that could be considered unsportsmanlike conduct except for actions intended to be allowed within the game itself as part of normal game-play.) If you do, your actions may result in a game loss, match loss, or disqualification from the event without prizes, solely at the discretion of the Tournament Staff.

  • If you have the capability, live streaming and/or recording video of all of your matches is a good idea, to help eliminate any possibility of any dispute arising as to performance in a given match.

  • Select matches for this event may be streamed on a designated/one of our Official Twitch channels. Competitors playing in the event may live stream the event from their own POV as well (and are strongly encouraged to do so!) By registering for this event, you agree that we may live re-broadcast your live stream from our designated Twitch channels and Shout-cast any game-play during the course of the event, as well as create VODs of this Content, which we may choose to make available on our official Youtube channels and other platforms, so others may marvel at your awesome plays (or epic fails!)

  • Funds for Cash prize winners will be sent via PayPal, and winners will be required to provide full Legal Name and Mailing Address (along with the email address associated with the PayPal account) for winnings to to be disbursed.

  • ALL DECISIONS BY THE TOURNAMENT ORGANZINER OF THIS EVENT ARE FINAL.
