FREE ENTRY - 4 Cases of Astral Radiance in Prizing (24 Boxes)

This Sword and Shield - Pokémon GO Standard event is brought to you by ebay and Fan Expo. Compete with some of the best players in a welcoming environment for the chance to win awesome prizes. While this event is free to play, you will need a Fan Expo badge to get into the event which can be purchased here. This event is in real life and isn't online. This event is limited to those who are at least 13 years of age or older.

  • Location: North Building, Level 100, Room 104ABCD, Metro Toronto Convention Centre, 255 Front St W. Toronto, ON
  • You will need a Fan Expo badge to get into the event which can be purchased here
  • This event has a cap of 150 players and requires an entry code. Please only register if you are planning on attending this event in person. The entry code is: fanexpo2022
  • IRL Registrations will start at 10AM. Players are required to have everything completed before 11:00AM.
  • Registration and Deck List submission end at 11:00AM. Players are required to have everything completed before 11:00AM.
  • This event follows the Standard format of Sword and Shield to Pokémon GO.
  • Players must have a legal 60 card deck and proxy cards aren't allowed at this event.
  • There will be an appropriate amount of Swiss Rounds based on attendance followed by a Top Cut of 8 players.
  • Swiss Rounds will be 53 mins long, Best of Three, and when time is called there will be +3 turns.
  • Top Cut Rounds will be 53 mins long, Best of Three, and when time is called there will be +3 turns.
  • When time is called during Top Cut Rounds , the winner will be decided by the amount of remaining Prize Cards + Games Won to determine the winner.
  • All rulings made by Staff are final and will be made with the players, Staff, and event in mind.
  • Deck list submission is online only. Please have a capable device to submit your list.

round structure This event follows the official Pokémon TCG Tournament Structure for larger sized events as found here Pokémon Tournament Rules Handbook under Section 4.6.3.2. The number of rounds for this event will accurately be based on the following amount of players:

  • 4-8 players = 3 Swiss Rounds and No Top Cut
  • 9-12 players = 4 Swiss Rounds and Top 4 Cut
  • 13-20 players = 5 Swiss Rounds and Top 4 Cut
  • 21-32 players = 5 Swiss Rounds and Top 8 Cut
  • 33-64 players = 6 Swiss Rounds and Top 8 Cut
  • 65-128 players = 7 Swiss Rounds and Top 8 Cut
  • 129-226 players = 8 Swiss Rounds and Top 8 Cut
  • 227-799 players = 14 Swiss Rounds and Top 8 Cut
  • 800+ players = 15 Swiss Rounds and Top 8 Cut
