🌎 Tournament Theme — Regional Lock
This tournament follows a Region-Locked team-building rule. Every Pokémon on your team must belong to the same region.
The region assigned to each Pokémon is determined by its National Pokédex number according to the respective generation's Pokédex.
For example, a Mono-Kanto team may only include Pokémon classified as part of the Kanto region.
⚠️ Important Regional Classification Rules:
- Regional Forms: Regional variants belong to the region indicated by their name, regardless of their National Pokédex number. For example, Alolan Ninetales belongs to Alola, not Kanto.
- Hisui — A Separate Region: Hisui is an independent region and is NOT considered part of Sinnoh or the Galar Pokédex. All Pokémon from the past and all Hisuian Forms are classified exclusively as Hisui Pokémon.
- Hisui Exclusivity: Pokémon from the past and Hisuian Forms may ONLY be used together on a team exclusively composed of Hisui Pokémon. They cannot be included in teams representing any other region.
🚨 STRICT ENFORCEMENT — TEAMS OUTSIDE THE TOURNAMENT THEME WILL BE DISQUALIFIED (DQ).
Players are responsible for ensuring that all six Pokémon comply with the regional restrictions before submitting their Open Team Sheet. Any team containing Pokémon from different regions, or violating the special Hisui restrictions, will be considered incompatible with the tournament theme and will result in disqualification.

📺 Live Stream
The tournament will be streamed live on the MetaVGC YouTube channel.
All participants must submit their battle room code in the Limitless chat so their matches can be selected for the broadcast!
🎁 Prizes
🥇 1st Place — Champion
- 50,00 BRL (only if the tournament reaches a minimum of 65 participants)
- 2 Shiny Pokémon of your choice
- Champion role and title on the Discord server
- Your team immortalized in the server's Hall of Fame
🥈 2nd Place — Runner-Up
- 2 Shiny Pokémon of your choice
- Elite Trainer role on the Discord server
🥉 3rd and 4th Places
- 1 Shiny Pokémon of your choice for each player
- Elite Trainer role on the Discord server
⚙️ Tournament Structure
Swiss Stage (Bo1)
All Swiss rounds will be played in Best of 1 (Bo1), with the time limit for each round managed by the Limitless system.
Make sure to check in for every round.
Playoffs — Top 8 (Bo3)
The top 8 players at the end of the Swiss stage will advance to the single-elimination bracket, played in Best of 3 (Bo3).
📝 Player Instructions
Registration and Team Sheet
All Pokémon Natures must be included in the Team Sheet. Failure to comply with this requirement may result in penalties, including an automatic Game Loss.
Submit your Open Team Sheet with the exact team you will use in the tournament by the start of the check-in period. Late submissions will not be accepted, and incorrect information may result in disqualification.
Players with incompatible or incomplete teams are subject to disqualification. This includes any team that violates the Regional Lock tournament theme.
Match Check-In
Once a new round pairing is announced, you will have 5 minutes to check in for your match on Limitless and arrange a battle room with your opponent.
Failure to check in within the allotted time will result in an automatic Game Loss, without requiring intervention from the organizers.
Communication and Support
All support during the competition will be handled through the Limitless reporting system and the MetaVGC Arena Discord server.
In case of Team Sheet errors, rule disputes, or bugs, use the Call Judge feature directly in the match chat.
📜 Key Match Rules and Reporting Procedures
Tournament Check-In
Check-in for the event must be completed on the platform during the 30 minutes leading up to the tournament's start time.
Delays and Time Limits ⏱️
- 5 minutes without checking in after a match pairing: Game Loss.
- 10 minutes without starting the match or showing activity on the battle page, even after checking in: Game Loss. Repeated delays may result in disqualification (DQ).
- If your opponent does not show up within 10 minutes, use the Report Match Issue / Call Judge option.
Open Team Sheet Discrepancies
The public Team Sheet must exactly match the team used in the match.
If a discrepancy is confirmed through a screenshot or video clip showing the match in progress, the current match may be voided, and the player responsible will receive a Game Loss.
The player must correct their team in-game if possible. If a correction is not possible, the Pokémon or move that differs from the Team Sheet must not be used. Failure to comply may result in additional penalties, including an automatic loss.
Disconnections
Reconnections and connection issues will be handled according to the mechanisms available within the game itself. The organizers are not responsible for participants' connection issues.

🌎 Tema do Torneio — Restrição Regional (Region Lock)
Este torneio seguirá a regra de equipes Region Locked. Todos os Pokémon da sua equipe deverão pertencer à mesma região.
A região de cada Pokémon será determinada pelo número de sua Pokédex Nacional, considerando a Pokédex da respectiva geração.
Por exemplo, uma equipe Mono-Kanto poderá utilizar apenas Pokémon classificados como pertencentes à região de Kanto.
⚠️ Regras Importantes de Classificação Regional:
- Formas Regionais: As formas regionais pertencem à região indicada em seu nome, independentemente do número de sua Pokédex Nacional. Por exemplo, Ninetales de Alola pertence a Alola, e não a Kanto.
- Hisui — Uma Região Independente: Hisui é uma região isolada e NÃO faz parte de Sinnoh nem da Pokédex de Galar. Todos os Pokémon do passado e todas as Formas de Hisui são classificados exclusivamente como Pokémon de Hisui.
- Exclusividade de Hisui: Pokémon do passado e Formas de Hisui SÓ poderão ser utilizados juntos em uma equipe composta exclusivamente por Pokémon de Hisui. Eles não poderão ser incluídos em equipes de nenhuma outra região.
🚨 REGRA DE CUMPRIMENTO OBRIGATÓRIO — EQUIPES FORA DO TEMA DO TORNEIO SERÃO DESCLASSIFICADAS (DQ).
É responsabilidade de cada jogador garantir que os seis Pokémon de sua equipe respeitem as restrições regionais antes de enviar a Open Team Sheet. Qualquer equipe que contenha Pokémon de regiões diferentes ou descumpra as restrições especiais de Hisui será considerada incompatível com o tema do torneio e resultará em desclassificação.

⚙️ Estrutura do Torneio
Fase Suíça (MD1)
As rodadas da fase suíça serão disputadas em Melhor de 1 (MD1), com limite de tempo por rodada gerenciado pelo sistema do Limitless.
Certifique-se de realizar o check-in em cada rodada.
Fase Eliminatória — Top 8 (MD3)
Os 8 melhores jogadores ao final da fase suíça avançarão para a chave eliminatória, disputada em Melhor de 3 (MD3).
📝 Instruções para os Jogadores
Inscrição e Team Sheet
É obrigatório incluir as Natures de todos os Pokémon na Team Sheet. O descumprimento dessa exigência poderá resultar em penalidades, incluindo Game Loss automático.
Envie sua Open Team Sheet com a equipe exata que será utilizada no torneio até o horário de início do check-in. Não será permitido enviar a lista posteriormente, e informações incorretas poderão resultar em desclassificação.
Jogadores com equipes incompatíveis ou incompletas estarão sujeitos à desclassificação. Isso inclui qualquer equipe que descumpra o tema regional (Region Lock) do torneio.
Check-in das Partidas
Após o pareamento de uma nova rodada, você terá 5 minutos para realizar o check-in da partida no Limitless e combinar a sala de batalha com seu oponente.
A ausência de check-in dentro do prazo resultará em derrota automática (Game Loss), sem necessidade de intervenção manual da organização.
Comunicação e Suporte
Todo o suporte durante a competição será realizado pelo sistema de reports do Limitless e pelo servidor da MetaVGC Arena no Discord.
Em caso de erros na Team Sheet, divergências de regras ou bugs, utilize a função Call Judge diretamente no chat da partida.
📜 Principais Regras de Disputa e Reports
Check-in do Torneio
O check-in do evento deverá ser realizado na plataforma durante os 30 minutos que antecedem o horário de início.
Atrasos e Tolerâncias ⏱️
- 5 minutos sem realizar o check-in da partida após o pareamento: Game Loss.
- 10 minutos sem iniciar a partida ou sinalizar atividade na página da batalha, mesmo após realizar o check-in: Game Loss. Atrasos recorrentes poderão resultar em desclassificação (DQ).
- Se seu oponente não aparecer em até 10 minutos, utilize a opção Report Match Issue / Call Judge.
Divergências na Team Sheet (Open Team Sheet)
A lista pública deve corresponder exatamente à equipe utilizada na partida.
Se uma divergência for comprovada por meio de captura de tela ou clipe com a partida em andamento, a partida atual poderá ser anulada e o jogador responsável receberá Game Loss.
O jogador deverá corrigir a equipe no jogo, se possível. Caso a correção não seja possível, o Pokémon ou movimento divergente não poderá ser utilizado, sob risco de penalidades adicionais, incluindo derrota automática.
Desconexões
Reconexões e problemas de conexão serão tratados conforme os mecanismos disponíveis no próprio jogo. A organização não se responsabiliza por problemas de conexão dos participantes.
