🏆 General Information

• Format: Pokémon Champion – M-C
• Platform: Nintendo Switch or Mobile
• Entry Cap: Maximum 64 players
• Format Type: Swiss Rounds + Top Cut (depending on number of players)
• Battle Format: Double Battle (VGC Ruleset)
• Team Lock: Yes – Players must use the same team throughout the tournament.
• Open Team Sheet: Required (see below)
• Top Cut will take place the same day
• Teamsheet errors will result in a game loss
• Failure to check-in will result in a game loss

📋 Team Sheet Requirements

EVERYONE MUST SUBMIT AN ACCURATE TEAM SHEET!

Your team sheet must include:

• Pokémon species and form
• Ability
• Held Item
• Moves
• Nature

⚠️ If a player fails to list all six in-game pokemons, penalties may apply, including potential game losses.

If matches in a given round end early, the start time of the next round may be updated to an earlier time.

🕒 Match Timers & Check-In

If time runs out, the player with the most surviving Pokémon wins.

If a player fails to check in within the time window, it may result in an automatic loss.

⚠️ Important Note – The next round begins only once all matches in the current round have been completed. It is not based on the timer. Any delays or schedule changes will be announced on our Discord server. Please join our Discord server to stay informed.

All Swiss rounds are played in order and paired using Swiss pairing (no elimination). After Swiss rounds, standings determine Top Cut qualification.

⚔️ Battle Rules

• ** Double Battles** applies.
• All Pokémon must be caught or obtained legally within the game or transferred legally via Pokémon HOME.
• No hacked or modified Pokémon are allowed.

What if I have an error on the team list?

Round 0-2:

• Correct team in game before next game
• Game Loss

  Round 3 and later

• Correct team in game before next game
• Match Loss

  TOP CUT

• You cannot use this pokemon (you play one less pokemon)
• Game Loss

Disconnections

YOU HAVE 90 s TO RECONNECT then:

Team preview:

  Other situation:

• Game decides about who wins You can join again to room and look at history tab to check result

Rules for the top cut,

We wait until the opponent finishes the previous game (if applicable, from R2). We type in the chat: Hi, code: XXXXXXXX. We wait 15 minutes, then G1 -> loss for the opponent. We type in the chat: G1 win for [Your nick]. After a total of 25 minutes, G2 -> loss for the opponent. We type in the chat: G1 win for [Your nick] The time count starts 15 and second after of total wait time 25 minutes after typing "Hi, code XXXXXXXX"

In the chat, type "Hi, [room code id]," wait 15 minutes -> you win G1, wait another 10 minutes (for a total of 25 minutes from the first message), and you win G2, which means you win the match

❌ Disconnections & Penalties

• If a disconnect occurs, players must immediately contact a judge.
• Intentional disconnections or manipulation of connection may result in disqualification.
• Rule disputes will be handled by judges and the TO; all judge decisions are final.

🧠 Sportsmanship

Players are expected to maintain respectful and fair play throughout the event. Harassment, unsportsmanlike conduct, or cheating will result in disqualification and potential bans from future events.

🧑‍⚖️ Judging & Appeals

• Dispute Resolution: All disputes will be resolved by the Tournament Organizer (TO) and appointed judges. Their decisions are final and binding.
• Reporting Issues: Players must report any issues or disputes immediately to a judge. Delays in reporting may affect the outcome of the dispute.
• Code of Conduct: Players are expected to maintain respectful behavior. Any form of harassment, cheating, or unsportsmanlike conduct may result in disqualification.
