TurboBlaze GLC Baltimore Regional

Going to the Baltimore Regional, but prefer GLC to Standard? We're offering a free tournament, hosted by TurboBlaze & our partners at Collector’s Connection in Duluth, MN! The Rundown

• Expect 4-5 rounds (subject to change based on participation). No Top Cut owing to limited time.

• Format is Gym Leader Challenge (link at the bottom for information on GLC Format)

• Each round is a 40 min BO1 match, with +3 turns after time is called.

• The location will be coordinated in the Team TurboBlaze DIscord server. It will be somewhere in the venue of the Baltimore Regional.

• The event will begin Sunday around 3:00pm, or whenever the official GLC side event concludes.

• Rulings followed according to Pokemon TCG Rulebook (see more below in “Rules”)

• No entry fee, prizing TBD.

Legal Card Pool

GLC Format - currently BW Base to Pitch Black as well as promo cards released before the event, GLC Ban List applies

Prizing

There will be prizing for top finishers and raffles for participants. You'll have to find out more by playing!

Proxies, Altered & Foreign Cards

• Proxies, Altered & Foreign Cards are allowed as long as they are indistinguishable from other cards – this means not marked or could be picked out from the deck due to thickness or transparency of the card back.

• Proxies must be in color (no black and white). For proxies, using the Limitless Proxy Printing Tool is strongly encouraged!

• For custom/altered art cards, only one custom full art proxy is allowed per deck.

• If using Foreign or World Championship cards, we recommend using opaque sleeves to ensure the card backs are indistinguishable.

• Re-writing a card proxy onto a different card is not allowed and will result in a match loss

Rules

• Do not advertise this to the Baltimore staff and keep your presence quiet and unintrusive.

• Please, no cheating – it’s lame and will not be tolerated. We’re here to enjoy the game we love. You cheat, break the rules, angle shoot, etc., you’re outta here!

• If a judge is needed during a match, please attempt to resolve it yourselves first. Espio or another designated TO can help adjudicate bad scenarios.

• Please, be kind to each other! We understand competition can lead to frustration but let’s not take it out on each other. Aggressive and hostile behavior, bullying, discrimination, etc., during events will not be tolerated

• Please remember judges have sole discretion over decision making and all judge decisions are final.

• Match results are to be reported in Limitless.
