Welcome to The STONELESS MONKEY Tournament!

A Pokémon VGC tournament that disallows the use of MEGA STONES. Trainers... Monkeys? will be tested on how well they can navigate the current climate of competitive play without the power of mega evolution.

Tournament Date and Time: September 20, 2026 | Check-in time is 11:00am -- Tournament starts at 01:00pm

There is no player cap. Swiss rounds will be dependent on number of registrants. Top-Cut will be Top 16, single eliminations if 128 players or more join.

Rules:

1. Disconnection Rule -- In the event of a disconnection, the disconnecting party shall take a game loss.
2. Team sheet Error Rules -- Pokémon observed to be inconsistent with the team sheet are to be banned for the remainder of the match. The Pokémon must be changed to be consistent with the team sheet AFTER the match where the team sheet error is reported. Example: In game 2, Player 1's Charizard is observed to have Solar Beam but the team sheet indicates otherwise. This will result in player 1 forced to take a loss for game 2. Charizard will also be banned until the end of the set. Once the match is over, Player 1 must match the indicated, submitted team sheet.
3. Mega stones are BANNED -- Anybody found with mega evolution are not welcome on mount huaguo. This will result in immediate disqualification from the tournament. Please make sure your Pokémon do not carry mega stones.
