EVERY POKÉMON IN YOUR DECK MUST ORIGINATE FROM THE UNOVA REGION (GEN V).

Pokémon from any other region are not allowed.
Hydreigon is banned and cannot be included in any deck.

TOURNAMENT FORMAT

7 SWISS ROUNDS → SINGLE-ELIMINATION TOP CUT

Swiss Rounds: Best-of-1 (Bo1)
Top Cut: Single Elimination — Best-of-3 (Bo3)

Losing a Swiss round does not eliminate a player. Players may continue competing in subsequent Swiss rounds.

Once the Top Cut begins, losing a Bo3 match will eliminate the player.

• Swiss Rounds: 7 rounds of Best-of-1 competition.
• Swiss Losses: Losing a Swiss round does not eliminate you. You may continue playing in later rounds.
• Top Cut: The tournament will proceed to a single-elimination Top Cut.
• Top Cut Matches: All Top Cut matches are Best-of-3.
• Elimination: Players who lose a Top Cut Bo3 match are eliminated.
• Every round matters: Bring your strongest Unova strategy and fight for your spot in the Top Cut!

All Pokémon in a player's deck must originate from the Unova Region (Gen V). Mega Pokémon from Unova are allowed as well.

• Pokémon from any other region are not allowed.
• Hydreigon is banned and cannot be included in any deck.
• All Supporter cards are allowed, regardless of the character or Pokémon featured on the card.
• The Unova restriction applies to Pokémon only. Supporter cards do not need to be associated with the Unova Region.

Unova Pokédex — Serebii

The linked Unova Pokédex will be used as the official reference for Pokémon eligibility.

Players are responsible for making sure their deck follows the approved Pokémon list before the tournament begins.

Any deck containing a Pokémon that is not on the approved list, including Hydreigon, is considered illegal and may result in disqualification.

This is intended to be a fun and friendly, yet competitive tournament. Treat all players, judges, organizers, and viewers with respect.

• No BMing, harassment, excessive trash talk, or disrespectful behavior. Friendly banter is fine as long as it remains respectful.
• Cheating, collusion, and intentional disconnects are prohibited.
• Players are responsible for reporting match results accurately.
• For any rules dispute, technical issue, or suspected cheating, contact a judge.
• Players should provide screenshots, recordings, or other evidence whenever possible to help ensure fair rulings.
• Judges and tournament organizers have final say on all tournament rulings and disputes.
• Violations may result in a match loss, forfeiture, or disqualification, at the discretion of the judges.

All Top Cut matches are required to be streamed.

Streaming is preferably done in the tournament Discord, although other platforms are acceptable.

Failure or refusal to stream a Top Cut match may result in forfeiture of the match, at the discretion of the judges.

There will be a $60 cash prize pool, split between the Top 3 finishers:
