🏆 Pokémon Champions Reg M-C | CGCL Ironman Tour #1

Welcome to this CGCL Pokémon Champions Ironman Tournament

This tournament will be played on Pokémon Champions using Bo3 Open Team Sheet.

Want some extra VGC practice, test your consistency over a longer tournament, and meet some incredible trainers? The Ironman is designed to test exactly that.

TREAT EVERYONE WITH RESPECT. There is a ZERO TOLERANCE policy for unsportsmanlike conduct.

PLEASE ENSURE YOUR TEAM SHEET 100% MATCHES YOUR TEAM IN GAME.

📋 REGULATION / RULES

This tournament will be played under Regulation MC.

  • All team sheets must be submitted before the start of Round 1.
  • Players who have not submitted a team sheet by the start of Round 1 will be dropped from the tournament.
  • Team sheets cannot be changed once the tournament has started.
  • Any discrepancy between your submitted team sheet and your in-game team may result in a game or round loss.
  • DOUBLE CHECK YOUR TEAM SHEET BEFORE THE TOURNAMENT STARTS.

⚔️ IRONMAN TOURNAMENT FORMAT

Unlike our standard CGCL tournaments, this Ironman Tour has NO TOP CUT.

Players will compete through an extended Swiss tournament, to test consistency and endurance!

Every round counts towards your final standing.

  • No Top Cut
  • No elimination rounds
  • Final standings are determined by your record and applicable tournament tiebreakers after the final Swiss round.

The exact number of Swiss rounds will depend on the number of players entered:

Total Participants Swiss Rounds
4–8 4
9–16 6
17–32 7
33–64 8
65–128 9

IRONMAN RULE: There is no Top Cut regardless of player count. The player finishing 1st in the final Swiss standings will be the tournament winner.

The tournament structure may be adjusted if necessary depending on the player count at the time of round 1. Any changes will be communicated before or during the tournament.
