Rules
Password
- This tournament contains a password. Please join the Project OTS Discord Server to get the password. Joining then leaving just for the password will be an automatic forfeit.
Rounds
- The next round will begin when everyone has finished all of their matches or when the timer runs out with a 3 minute buffer, whichever one comes first. Any matches that don't get finished will receive a tie.
- Rounds will not be valid until after the coin flip has happened. If you try to report a win that was made before the coin flip, you will be given a game loss. Same thing applies if your opponent is not online.
Top Cut
- If game 1 is a tie, mark a win for both players & the next game decides Bo3.
- If game 2 is a tie, whoever won game 1 wins the Bo3.
- If game 3 is a tie, replay game 3 to decide the Bo3.
Disconnections
- If you disconnect due to the app or your internet connection, you will receive a game loss. If such a thing happens before the initial coin flip, you will redo the match instead. This is nulled if a gentleman's agreement is made.
Slow Play
- If the time difference between is any more than 4:59 seconds, the one who has less time will receive a game loss.
Ties
- If both people finish a game with an in game tie and a judge call happens, that will be a tie.
- If both players agree and a judge call is made, it will be a tie.
- Other ties are governed by the other rules.
Late Check Ins
- If you are late to checking into your match, you will receive a match loss, no exceptions.
Sportsmanship
Please do not do the following:
- Curse out your opponent;
- Use of slurs at all;
- Cheating during the tournament;
- Using NSFW in game names;
- Being rude to any Judge, TO, or Staff; or
- Intentionally delaying a game.
Doing any of those will result in a forfeit from the match, the set, or the entire tournament or will result you in a ban from the tourney or the server as a whole.
