OTS Pokemon VGC Arena

OTS Pokemon VGC Arena is the Pokémon Video Game tournament from Project OTS! Anyone regardless of skill can play!
Schedule
It is hosted at 6:00 PM EDT (12:00 AM CEST) on the third Saturday of every month.
Format
- Regulation Set M-B
- Open Team Sheets
- Best of 3 Rounds
- 4 Participants = Round Robin
- 5≤8 Participants = Swiss (3 Rounds) into Single Elimination Top Cut (4 points)
- 9≤16 Participants = Swiss (4 Rounds) into Single Elimination Top Cut (7 points)
- 17≤32 Participants = Swiss (5 Rounds) into Single Elimination Top Cut (10 points)
- >32 Participants = Swiss (6 Rounds) into Single Elimination Top Cut (13 points)
- Swiss:
- 50 Minute Rounds
- 5 Minute Check Ins
- Wins = 3 points
- Ties = 1 point
- Top Cut

Rules
Password
- This tournament contains a password. Please join the Project OTS Discord Server to get the password. Joining then leaving just for the password will be an automatic forfeit.
Open Team Sheets
Your team sheet must include the following:
- Your Pokémon
- Your Pokémon's moves
- Your Pokémon's items
- Your Pokémon's gender
- Your Pokémon's level
- Your Pokémon's nature
- Your Pokémon's base ability
- If your Pokémon is a Mega, provide the base form with their respective mega stone as the item

Rounds
- The next round will begin when everyone has finished all of their matches or when the timer runs out with a 3 minute buffer, whichever one comes first. Any matches that don't get finished will receive a tie.
Top Cut
- If game 1 is a tie, mark a win for both players & the next game decides Bo3.
- If game 2 is a tie, whoever won game 1 wins the Bo3.
- If game 3 is a tie, replay game 3 to decide the Bo3.
Disconnections
- If no one Pokemon has fainted on either team and a player disconnects due to the game or their internet connection, the game will be a replay. If such a thing happens after at least one Pokemon has fainted, the disconnected player will receive a game loss.
Ties
If both players agree and a judge call is made, it will be a tie.
Other ties are governed by the other rules.
Late Check Ins
If you are late to checking into your match, you will receive a match loss, no exceptions.
Sportsmanship
Please do not do the following:
Curse out your opponent;
Use of slurs at all;
Cheating during the tournament;
Using NSFW in game names;
Being rude to any TO or Staff; or
Intentionally delaying a game.
Doing any of those will result in a forfeit from the match, the set, or the entire tournament or will result you in a ban from the tourney or the server as a whole.
