📋 Decklist Procedures
📜 Submission Specifics
- 🔄 decklists and energy may be edited freely BEFORE the tournament starts
- 🔒 once the tournament begins, your decklist — including energy — is FINAL and must be used for the entire event
⚠️ Decklist Penalties
🎴 Alternate art versions of the same functional card are permitted. Functionally different cards or an incorrect energy selection count as an Incorrect Decklist.
⏪ Wrong Deck in Game 1 — reveal the card to verify the error, then restart the game with the correct deck. No game loss if approved by a judge.
❌ Repeated Violations — additional errors after a restart, or continued incorrect-decklist reports, will result in a Game Loss.
✔️ Check-Ins
☑️ Tournament Check-In
🕐 opens 1–2 hours before the event start, required once before the tournament begins
❌ failing to check in results in removal from the tournament — late registration may still be allowed with a default loss
✅ Round Check-In
⏰ players have 5 MINUTES to check in each round or they receive an automatic MATCH LOSS
- if your opponent has checked in but shows no signs of being responsive, request a judge rather than assuming a no-show
⚔️ Match Structure
🔁 Swiss Rounds — Best of 1
🔀 Pairing — paired against players with similar records as rounds progress
🎮 Match Format — each match is Bo1 with a 25-minute pacing window

⚖️ Judges and Match Rulings
📞 Primary Communication — call a judge through Limitless first for any match-related issue

❌ Incorrect/False Match Reports
⚠️ if neither player can provide sufficient evidence to settle a dispute, the match will be marked a DOUBLE GAME LOSS
🤝 Tie Resolution
Top Cut:
📝 a GAME TIE counts as both players receiving a GAME WIN
1️⃣ Early Tie — if Game 1 ends in a tie, the winner of Game 2 is the MATCH WINNER
2️⃣ Late Tie — if Game 2 ties after a conclusive Game 1, the winner of Game 1 is the MATCH WINNER
3️⃣ Full Tie — a Game 3 tie at 1–1 is ruled a MATCH TIE
Single Elimination:
🔂 additional games are played as needed until a winner is determined
📶 Connection Issues, Turn-0 Situations, and External Factors
We have no control over external factors such as ISP, device, or weather issues — the following rules help pace the tournament fairly.
⚠️ Failed Game Start — if the application fails to start a game, that game may be restarted
📡 Disconnect — if a disconnect happens mid-game, the player left on the Victory Screen is awarded the win
🚫 External Factors — personal responsibilities, weather, or scheduling issues are not admissible reasons to hold up the tournament; drop if you can't commit the time
🚫 Player Conduct and Rule Violations
⚠️ We do not tolerate toxic behavior, unsportsmanlike conduct, or rule sharking.
🔍 Behavior is evaluated at judge discretion — correctable behavior receives simple warnings.
🔨 Repeated or severe violations can result in removal from the current tournament, bans from future Plasma-run events, and active monitoring against re-entry.
👍 Be respectful to players and staff at all times, even during disagreements.
