Decklist Procedures
Submission
  • Edit freely before the tournament starts
  • Locks — including energy — once the tournament begins
  • No card or energy changes once locked
Penalties
  • Alternate art of the same card is fine
  • Wrong card or energy = incorrect decklist (important)
  • Wrong deck in Game 1: reveal, restart with correct deck
  • Further errors after restart = game loss
Check-Ins
Tournament Check-In
  • Opens 1–2 hours before start, required once
  • Missed = removal risk; late reg. may allow default loss
Round Check-In
  • 5-minute window every round (important)
  • Missed window = automatic match loss
  • Opponent unresponsive but checked in? Call a judge
Judges and Match Rulings
Match Reports
  • Call a judge via Limitless first
  • Screenshot every victory screen
  • No evidence from either side = double game loss (important)
Tie Resolution
  • Top Cut: game tie = both get a game win; G1 tie settled by G2; G2 tie after a G1 win = that winner takes it; 1–1 G3 tie = match tie
  • Single Elim: extra games played until a winner is decided
Connection Issues
  • ISP/hardware/weather issues are outside staff control
  • Game that fails to start may be restarted
  • Mid-game disconnect: player left on victory screen wins
No-Shows & Timing
  • 5 min late to Top Cut = game loss, per 5 min (important)
Code of Conduct
  • Warnings for toxic behavior, unsportsmanlike conduct, rule sharking
  • Repeat/severe violations = removal, event bans, monitoring (important)
Directives may update over time for clarity, fairness, and competitive integrity.
