Professor Toast's Newbie Championship

Ready to play your first Pokémon Champions tournament? This event is designed specifically for newcomers and beginners who want to take their first steps into competitive play, gain tournament experience, and enjoy a friendly, welcoming environment.

Whether you've just started playing, only know one team, or simply want to improve without facing the strongest competitors, this tournament is for you.

The event is organized by the Ukrainian player prof. Toast, who wanted to create a friendly space where newcomers can learn, compete, and become part of the community. The tournament is held with the support of Pokémon Champions UA.

This tournament is open exclusively to players from Ukraine and aims to support and grow the Ukrainian Pokémon Champions community.

Free Coaching

Before the tournament, participants can receive one free 30-minute coaching session on Discord with one of our volunteer coaches.

During the session, you can:

• Get feedback on your team.
• Receive teambuilding advice.
• Ask questions about the current metagame.
• Discuss moves, items, matchups, and strategies.
• Get answers to any other Pokémon Champions questions.

Each participant may receive one coaching session.

Prize Pool

Total Prize Pool: 1,750 UAH

• 🥇 1st Place — 1,000 UAH
• 🥈 2nd Place — 500 UAH
• 🥉 3rd Place — 250 UAH
