Other tournament information if it comes up

  • Swiss Round BO1 matches are 40 minutes long with 5 mins of Check In per round
  • All games played are in an open deck list format to help maintain online integrity.
  • When time is called during Swiss Rounds BO1 the game will be a Double Game Loss, unless otherwise stated by Staff
  • If you believe your opponent is "Playing Slowly", please call a Judge as early as possible. The only acceptable forms of proof are: streaming your game in the Eagle's Nest Discord Server or your opponent admitting to "Playing Slowly"
  • If you experience any of the following, but not limited to: Game Freezing, Internet Issues, Server Issues, Game Lag, Software Glitch, Device Crashing - it will be awarded as a Game Loss to the player experiencing the issue if the game is unusable.
  • All games must be reported on Limitless before time has been called for the round otherwise they will be a Double Game Loss. You can concede to your opponent to give them the "Win", but if there isn't a recorded result before time is called, it will stay as a Double Game Loss
  • It is strongly recommended to have screenshot proof of any win upon the conclusion of a game. If you leave a game without explicitly stating "time is over, this is a DGL" or something similar, it could be perceived as a concession.
  • Players are allowed to stream their personal event experience on any streaming service and it is recommended to have a delay on your stream to avoid "stream sniping" or any other disadvantages. Any advantages gained by streaming, such as receiving assistance from your audience, can lead to penalties after staff investigates the situation.
  • It is the players responsibility to Check In prior to each match - failure to do so will result in an automatic Game Loss without a judge approval to say otherwise.
  • It is each players responsibility to Select the Correct Deck for each round. If the player realizes they have the wrong deck after starting a round, they will be issued a game loss. There will be no chance to correct this after the match is started with the opponent.
  • If you aren't familiar with the Play Limitless website or need additional information, please read the Help Page

Other Details

  • A judge will be available throughout the tournament. If you need assistance, please use the @judge ping in the judge-request channel.
  • Tables are numbered 1-32, corresponding to the voice channels in the Eagle's Nest Cord.
  • If all tables finish before the timer runs out, we might advance to the next round earlier.
  • Spectating is allowed; please remain muted while spectating.
  • Overtime rules are as follows: you have 0-3 turns to complete the match, or it will result in a draw.
  • We will play a minimum of 3 rounds for this tournament. Typically, the tournament would end when an undefeated player is determined, but to avoid one-round tournaments, this rule ensures we have at least 3 rounds.
