Tournament Format

• Game: Pokémon TCG Pocket
• Tournament Structure: Swiss Rounds Bo1 & Top Cut Bo3
• Maximum Players: 64

Entry Fee: 10,00 EUR (Registration + 1 Trade for ANY CARD)

• Registering for the tournament lets you trade for any card of your choice right away, Professor's Researh included! If you don't have enough Shinedust yet, no problem—we can simply wait until you have enough to complete the trade. The cards will be mostly in Italian.
• 80% of the total entry fees will be allocated to the prize pool and distributed among the top players, based on the final number of registered participants
• The remaining 20% will be retained to help fund and organize future events.

How to Submit the Entry Fee

• Click here to access our Paypal profile
• When making your payment, include the tournament name (Gholdengo Cup #1), your Limitless username, and your Discord username, as the image below
• Please send your payment ONLY via PayPal "Friends & Family"!!
• Payments sent using PayPal "Goods & Services" will not be accepted and 9,31€ will be refunded (0,69€ are spent in non-refundable commissions). Please make sure you select the correct payment method before sending your payment
• Join our Discord server and let us know in global chat that you have sent the payment, so we can check in a short time.
• Once your payment has been confirmed, you will be allowed to register for the tournament
• Go to Limitless and register as usual

Swiss Rules (Bo1)

• All matches are Best of 1 (Bo1).
• Match Duration: 20 minutes, 3 minutes Check-In.
• Failure to check in will result in a Match Loss.
• Win: +3 Points; Tie: +1 Points
• Each new Swiss round will start when all the previous matches are concluded. The schedule of the tournament might change. You will be notified on Discord when a new round starts. Please be ready at any moment.

Round Robin Rules (Bo2)

• This format will be used only if there are only 3 players.
• All matches are Best of 2 (Bo2).
• Match Duration: 30 minutes, 3 minutes Check-In.
• Failure to check in will result in a Match Loss.
• Win: +3 Points; Tie: +1 Points
• Each new Round Robin round will start when all the previous matches are concluded. The schedule of the tournament might change. You will be notified on Discord when a new round starts. Please be ready at any moment.

Top Cut Rules (Bo3)

• All matches are Best of 3 (Bo3).
• Match Duration: 40 minutes, 3 minutes Check-In.
• Failure to check in will result in a Match Loss.
• Each new Top Cut round will start when all the previous matches are concluded. The schedule of the tournament might change. You will be notified on Discord when a new round starts. Please be ready at any moment.

Deck List Rules

PLEASE ENSURE YOUR TEAM LIST 100% MATCHES YOUR TEAM IN GAME!

• Follow this guide, click here to know how to submit your list.
• The same list must be used throughout the entire tournament
• List information cannot be changed after the tournament has started
• Players are responsible for ensuring that their Deck List matches their in-game Deck exactly
• YOU HAVE TO PLAY WITH THE LIST YOU HAVE SUBMITTED. If you made some mistake, changes are not allowed.

How to Start a Battle

• Keep an eye on your Limitless Dashboard!
• Remember to Check-In! It's an immediate loss if you miss the timer!
• Once the round starts, contact your opponent through Limitless
• Use the password provided by Limitless and start the battle

Discord

• Joining the tournament Discord server is mandatory. CLICK HERE TO JOIN!
• Tournament announcements and staff communications will be made through Discord
• Players must be members of the Discord server to receive any prizes
• Winners will be contacted through Discord after the tournament

Discord Username

• Players must provide a valid Discord username during registration
• The username must allow tournament staff to contact the player if they win a prize
• Incorrect or unreachable Discord information may result in prize forfeiture

---

Match Reporting

• Use the Limitless dashboard to report the winner
• The winner should keep a screenshot of the victory screen
• Screenshots only need to be submitted on Discord if requested by tournament staff

Disconnections

If a disconnection occurs:

• Contact tournament staff immediately!
• Provide screenshots or video evidence of the victory screenshot
• Any kind of disconnection results in an immediate Game Loss. Please ensure you have a stable internet connection!

Judge Decisions

Tournament staff reserve the right to make rulings on situations not explicitly covered by these rules.

All judge decisions are final.
