Gholdengo Frenzy - Snipe Shot #1
Welcome to the Snipe Shot Series, where only Pokémon that are able to target the bench are allowed to be played!
Game Format
- Players may only use Pokémon that are able to target the opponents bench through an attack.
- That attack can have a specific target or not, as long as it has the ability to deal damage to the opponents benched Pokémon.
- Pokémon that cannot target the bench can be used only if they evolve into one that is capable of targeting the bench.
Tournament Phases
- This tournament will be played out throughout two phases: Swiss Rounds and a Top Cut.
- Swiss rounds are played out in a BO1. Top Cut is played out in a BO3.
- The number of games will vary according to the number of participants (see following graph).
- 8-15 players → 4 Swiss Rounds + Top 4 Cut
- 16-31 players → 5 Swiss Rounds + Top 8 Cut
- 32-63 players → 6 Swiss Rounds + Top 8 Cut
- 64-127 players→ 7 Swiss Rounds + Top 16 Cut
- 128-255 players → 8 Swiss Rounds + Top 16 Cut
- 256-511 players → 9 Swiss Rounds + Top 32 Cut
Player Conduct
- A respectful behavior is to be demanded of the players. Any disrespectful comments such as insults, harassment, sexism, racism or homophobia through the Limitless chat or other platforms will NOT be tolerated. The result of such behavior is an immediate disqualification from the tournament. Further sanction may be imposed according to the situation.
Game Glitches & App Crashes
- In the unfortunate case of a game glitch or an app crash, the concerned player receives an immediate game loss. That player may request their opponent to restart the game. They must respect their opponent’s decision and may not oppose to it.
Incorrect Decklist
- The result of a player using an incorrect decklist is a game loss. Proof of such a case must be sent in the "judge-request" section of the Discord server. If a player realizes they’ve taken the wrong deck before the initial set up, that player must send proof in the "judge-request" section of the Discord server. Upon review, the match may be restarted.
Ties
- In the case of a tie during Swiss Rounds, a judge must be called in order for the results to be registered.
- In the case of a tie during Top Cut, both players obtain a point. If a tie occurs in game 3, play sudden death: first point wins.
Conflicts & Disputes
- In the case of a conflict or a dispute, a judge must be called. Upon review of the situation, the judge will make the final decision.
