Welcome to the Thunderclap Esports Pokémon VGC Tryouts Tournament, where skilled Trainers battle for cash prizes, exclusive rewards, and the opportunity to earn a spot on Thunderclap Esports' official Competitive Pokémon VGC Team.

This is not just a tournament. It is an official team tryout.

All participants are expected to have the intention of joining the Thunderclap Esports Competitive Pokémon VGC Team if selected.

If you are only interested in the prize pool and have no intention of representing the organization competitively, this tournament is not for you.

Tournament Format

Phase 1: Swiss Stage

• Players compete in multiple Swiss rounds.
• Matchups are determined based on current standings.
• The top-performing players will advance to Phase 2.

Phase 2: Single Elimination Bracket

• Qualified players enter a single elimination playoff bracket.
• Win and advance.
• Lose and you're eliminated.
• The final standings will determine prize distribution and team invitations.
