Welcome! If you are looking to take a break from Standard format and try something different, The Underground is proud to present a new Expanded tournament circuit!
Twinleaf Guide
This is a casual expanded tournament hosted on the Twinleaf Simulator. Please note that not all cards legal in Expanded are implemented in Twinleaf. Before the tournament, please check that all cards in your deck are available on Twinleaf by constructing your deck on the platform. If you submit a decklist containing unimplemented cards, you will need to replace them with basic energy. If you have not played on Twinleaf before, please make an account. Images are not built into the simulator, so to get images for all the cards, click the top right corner and then go to "show profile". Then, click the "Edit Profile" button on the top right, click "Images", and then paste in the following link: https://amydev.me/twinleaf-json/image-jsons/limitlesstcg/large.json
and save.
To challenge your opponent, click the three lines button on the top right. Find your opponent in this list, click their profile, and click to challenge them.
As Twinleaf is a community-developed simulator, there will unfortunately be some bugs that you may encounter. If you do encounter any bugs, please submit them to the Twinleaf discord. The devs are actively fixing them and, through more iterations of this Expanded tournament, more and more bugs will be fixed over time!
Expanded Format
The expanded format allows all cards printed from Black and White forward, with the exception of banned cards and, for this tournament, cards not implemented on Twinleaf.
Prizing
As this is the first of many Expanded format tournaments, prizing will be limited. With more support, the prizing will increase. For this tournament, prizing will only given to the winner, and the prizing will be $5.
General Rules
Generally, it's pretty self-explanatory to know how to act in a tournament setting. That said, if you are found to be disruptive or disrespectful in any way, you are at risk of being removed from the tournament and potentially banned from the circuit. To put it bluntly, play nice!
