Welcome to the Infinity Prints TCG Pitch Black Prerelease!

Prerelease events give players the opportunity to get their hands on cards from the newest Pokémon Trading Card Game expansion up to two weeks before its official release. Participants not only gain early access to new products but also have the chance to earn additional booster packs by participating in and winning the prerelease tournament.

General Information:

Tournament check-in begins at 16:00 EEST. Deck building starts at 16:30 EEST, and the first round begins at 17:00 EEST.

The entry fee is 35€. The maximum number of participants is 30.

Rules:

Each player receives one Pitch Black Build & Battle Box, which is used to construct their deck. Players must build a 40-card deck using only the contents of their Build & Battle Box, which includes a 40-card themed deck and four Pitch Black booster packs.

Players may add any number of Basic Energy cards to their deck, which are provided by tournament staff.

There is no four-copy card limit in prerelease events. For example, if a player has three Bulbasaur in their theme deck and opens two more from booster packs, they may include all five in their deck.

Trading cards from the Build & Battle Box is not allowed until the tournament has concluded.

Tournament Format:

Players will compete using their constructed decks in Best-of-One Swiss rounds to determine the Pitch Black Champion.

3 rounds will be played in this tournament. Matches are played with 4 Prize cards instead of 6 and have a 20-minute time limit per round.

After all rounds are completed, each player receives 3 Pitch Black booster packs and 1 Prize Pack Series 8 as a participation reward. Additional prizes may be awarded to top-performing players depending on the number of participants.
