Tournament Format — Double Knockout

This event uses a Double Knockout Bracket.
Every player must lose twice to be eliminated.

Format Notes:
– Lose once → Drop to Lower Bracket
– Lose twice → Eliminated
– Lower Bracket matches move quickly
– Grand Finals may require a bracket reset

There is no Swiss. Every match matters.

General Rules

– Provide proof of victory if a judge requests it
– No harassment, hate speech, or toxic behavior
– Request a judge only when necessary
– Be patient while waiting for next rounds
– Respect opponents, players, and judges

Play fair. Play clean. Play with respect.

Rounds & Searching

– Rounds over 25 minutes (-5:00 timeout) = Tie
– Intentional ties allowed if both players agree
– Sudden Death allowed only if both players agree
– Round 0 wins do not count

Searching Notes:
– Judges may request proof
– Report issues immediately

Decklist Rules

– Wrong deck? Restart allowed ONLY before Turn 1
– Report any deck errors to judges + opponents
– No changing cards or energy types mid‑tournament
– Violations may result in DQ or bans

Important Rules

– Be patient during Top Cut
– If opponent is missing for 5 minutes, request a judge
– Judge may award a round win after verification
– Ties in R1/R2 = both players get 1 point
– Ties in R3 = Sudden Death rematch

If in doubt, call a judge.
