Rules and Regulations
- Intentional Draw, also known as ID is permitted for this tournament
- If a player’s game crashes, glitches, or encounters technical issues during a match, that player will receive a game loss.
- Players are strongly encouraged to take screenshots of their victory screens, as these provide the best evidence in case of match result disputes. Any player found falsely reporting results will be disqualified from the event, and repeat offenses may lead to a ban from the SEASAC Series.
- In accordance with TPCi Tournament Rules, all players must maintain a reasonable pace of play. If you suspect your opponent is intentionally slow playing or manipulating the clock, you should call a judge immediately. Evidence is required for any ruling, with the strongest forms being screenshots showing significant time differences or videos clearly demonstrating slow play. If possible, players should join one of the Discord “tables” so a judge can observe the match directly. A player found guilty of slow playing will receive a match loss, and repeated offenses in the same event may result in removal from the event. Once Time is called for the round, that means any unfinished matches will be declared a tie. If you believe your opponent is slowplaying you, please call a judge with reasonable time left in the round in order to give the judges time to evaluate the pace of play. When you call a judge for an issue of slowplay, the only acceptable pieces of evidence for the matter will be: Streaming your match to the judges and allowing them to watch it over, if the time difference between both players is 7 or more minutes and proven with screenshots, screenshots show the time difference ALONGSIDE game logs to show that the amount of actions taken does not match the time taken. Any other attempt at proving slowplay will not be able to be progressed further and will be met with the match still ending with a tie. It is also important to understand that even with proof being shown in any of these methods, it is still up to the discretion of the Judge to deem whether there was slowplay within the reviewed match. We do our best to make sure any matches are given the proper result, but also are not perfect.
- Any participant who behaves disrespectfully toward other players, especially judges, will be disqualified. Repeat offenses may result in a ban from the SEASAC League.
- The play.limitlesstcg system automatically assigns a match loss to players who fail to check in before the timer expires. Players must not award themselves a match win simply because they believe their opponent is absent or late. Doing so will result in a match loss. If there is any uncertainty, always call a judge.
- In a BO3 match, in the first game, the higher seeded player may choose who goes first. Then for the 2nd & 3rd games, the loser of the previous round may choose who goes first
- if you drop, but then make top cut, you will be disqualified to give the chance to another player to make top cut
