To participate in this tournament, you must be in the Pokemon Pocket Battle Network Discord

When on-boarding, at Question 4, be sure to select I am a Tournament Participant! in order to gain access to our Tournament Series rooms where you will receive important live updates and communicate with tournament staff and players more directly.

While you wait for the tournament, join us in the PPBN to get your PvP fix - challenge our gym leaders to earn their badges and compete to be the Server Champion, battle other server members to climb our custom ranked ladders for fun prizes, and participate in other special events!

Tournament Structure

• You must submit a single deck with listed energy type as a part of Limitless registration. This deck may not change after the tournament begins.
• Check-in begins 60 minutes before the tournament begins.
• Swiss Rounds will be Best of One (BO1) and 20 Minutes in length. You will have 5 Minutes to Check-In each round.
• Top Cut will begin immediately after Swiss Rounds have finished.
• Top Cut will be Best of Three (BO3). You will have 10 Minutes to Check-In.
• Swiss Rounds and Top Cut numbers will be adjusted based on the number of participants (see the chart below)
  • 9-16 players → 4 Swiss Rounds + Top Cut of 4
  • 17-32 players → 5 Swiss Rounds + Top Cut of 8
  • 33-64 players → 5 Swiss Rounds + Top Cut of 16
  • 65-96 players → 6 Swiss Rounds + Top Cut of 16
  • 97-128 players → 6 Swiss Rounds + Top Cut of 32
  • 129-180 players → 7 Swiss Rounds + Top Cut of 32
  • 181-226 players → 7 Swiss Rounds + Top Cut of 64
  • 227+ players → 8 Swiss Rounds + Top Cut of 64

Rules

• Your listed in-game name must match your actual in-game name exactly. "Shark" and "TTV.Shark" are not the same.
• Your Discord username must be associated with your Limitless account.
• Please make sure the deck you are using matches the deck you submitted for the tournament. Any discrepancies will lead to disqualification.
• In event of a dispute, please contact a judge in the Limitless site. If a judge does not show, please use the Judge-Call room in the Discord and ping @Tournament Judge
• Be sure to collect screenshots of your victories with your opponent's name in order to quickly resolve incorrect match reporting.
• Intentional ties are allowed in Swiss rounds.
• Judges will use their discretion when resolving disputes, please respect their time and expertise.
• If both players in a match cannot provide sufficient evidence to settle a dispute, the match will be marked as a Double Loss.
• Timer stalling is forbidden. If an opponent checks-in but does not respond for at least 5 minutes, call a judge.
• Proven instances of cheating will result in disqualification.
• Be respectful of all people involved - good luck to all!
