🎥Streaming & Screensharing🎥

This tournament will be casted by Jaydankest on Twitch and YouTube.

•Screensharing your swiss round matches is optional, but highly recommended to allow Jaydankest to show off some amazing matches on Twitch and YouTube.

•Screensharing your matches is mandatory for all competitors who make it to Top Cut.

•Once we make it to Top 4, wait until Umbreon099 & Jaydankest give the ok to start. Both top 4 matches, & the grand finals will be shown so we can see who comes out victorious.

•If you have any questions regarding how to screenshare your swiss matches in The Breakfast Club Discord server, feel free to ask a judge, and they will assist.

The next round starts when all matches are finished, not based on the timer.

"If you tie during swiss rounds, play sudden death. First point wins."

🥊Top Cut Rules🥊

•Check in is 5 minutes per game. The timer starts from the first message sent in the limitless chat (Time Stamp). If your opponent doesn't show, please call for a judge. Send your opponent a message on limitless to make judge calls easier. No Exceptions

•If game 1 is a tie, mark a win for both players & the next game decides BO3.

•If game 2 is a tie, whoever won game 1 wins the BO3.

•If game 3 is a tie, replay game 3 to decide the BO3.

⚠️In the rare case of inconclusive replay games, in the interest of time and tournament pacing, the fairest and quickest solution we have currently will be to let the game's starting coin flip determine the winner.⚠️

⚖️ Tournament Policies⚖️

Respect & Fair Play

Be respectful at all times. Unsportsmanlike behavior, or vulgar usernames will lead to removal from the tournament, and a possible ban from future tournaments.

If you are caught rule sharking, it's a warning for the first offense. Anymore after will result in a ban.

🎴Deck Rules🎴

•If you accidentally load into your match with the wrong deck, place a Pokémon in the active spot and take a time stamped screenshot before hitting start showing both players IGN & board state. Concede your match, & immediately call for a judge on limitless letting your opponent know on limitless that you chose the wrong deck. A judge will allow one reset.

•If your opponent uses an energy that is different then the one they declared when they submitted a decklist, it's a game loss.

•During Top Cut, if a player uses the wrong card, or energy it's a match loss.

🅾️Round 0 Wins🅾️

Wins before the coin flip or if the opponent isn’t online are not valid. If you try to cheat a win with a round 0 screenshot, you will be given a warning.

If the coin flip has started, the match is valid.

🏆Match Results🏆

Take a time stamped screenshot of the victory screen in case of a dispute.

🛑Incomplete Matches🛑

If the match isn't finished before the round ends, please call judge so we can extend time by +3 minutes. After the 3 minute extension, if a match is not finished, it will be deemed a tie.

🖥️Connection Issues🖥️

If you disconnect due to app or internet, it's a loss, unless it happens before the coin flip.

🐌Slow Play🐌

If the time difference between players is over 5 minutes, take a screenshot and report it on Discord. The player can then claim a win after a judge awards it.

🔑Password Problems🔑

If the given password doesn't work, both players must agree on a new one quickly, to maximize the amount of time you have to play each round.

🫩Round Check-In🫩

It is your responsibility to check in for every round of swiss.

•If you are unable to check-in during the 4 minutes window due to a bug on the limitless server, call for a judge ASAP so they can reset the match.

•If you miss check-in, you will be awarded a loss for the round. Judges will not reset a match if you miss check in.

Allowed if both players agree, & request a judge.

👨‍⚖️Calling a Judge👨‍⚖️

Judges make fair calls based on rules. If both players solve the issue, no judge is needed.

•If you need to call for a judge, please do so on limitless in a timely manner. There might be a lot of judge calls during a round, so please be patient.

•Once a judge makes a final ruling, it will not be changed.

•Judges are volunteering their time for the tournament. Please be respectful to all staff members.
