Pokémon TCG Online Tournament
This is a competitive online Pokémon TCG tournament played in Standard format on Pokémon TCG Live, following a Swiss tournament structure with a Top 8 cut.
Format
All matches are played in Standard format on Pokémon TCG Live. Players are expected to bring legal Standard decks and compete independently without outside assistance during gameplay.
Swiss Rounds (based on attendance)
Swiss rounds are determined by total player count to ensure balanced competition:
- 5–8 Players: 3 Rounds
- 9–16 Players: 4 Rounds
- 17–32 Players: 5 Rounds
- 33–64 Players: 6 Rounds
- 65–128 Players: 7 Rounds
- 129–256 Players: 8 Rounds
- 257–512 Players: 9 Rounds
After Swiss rounds conclude, the Top 8 players advance to a single-elimination Top Cut.
Match Structure
Swiss Rounds: Best of 1
- 30-minute match timer
- 5-minute check-in timer per round (35 minutes total)
Top 8 Cut: Best of 3
- 75-minute match timer
- 5-minute check-in timer per round (80 minutes total)
Scoring
- Win = 3 points
- Tie = 1 point
- Loss = 0 points
Standings after Swiss determine Top 8 advancement based on total points earned, with tie-breakers applied as needed.
Rules & Conduct
All matches must be played on Pokémon TCG Live in Standard format. Players are expected to play independently without outside assistance during matches. Sportsmanship and fair play are required at all times.
Prizing
- 1st Place: 8 random PTCG Live codes
- 2nd Place: 6 codes
- 3rd - 4th Place: 4 codes
- 5th - 8th Place: 2 codes
