Gameplay & Technical Issues
In-game crashing, connection issues, or glitching will result in a game loss to the player experiencing the issue UNLESS you are in the discord and both players agree to restart the match. If you are not in the discord and do not have any proof of discrepancies we will uphold the initial ruling.
Players are responsible for ensuring they have the correct decklist submitted and are playing with the correct deck each round. All decklist errors will result in a game loss — no exceptions.
It is highly recommended that players screenshot their victory screens as proof in the event of match result disputes.
Any player found falsely reporting match results will be disqualified from the event. Repeat offenses will result in a ban from The Nightshades Battlefield series.
Slow Play Clause
Per TPCi Tournament Rules, players must maintain a reasonable pace of play.
If you believe your opponent is slow playing or intentionally manipulating time:
Request a judge immediately.
Evidence is required for a ruling (screenshots of significant time discrepancies and/or video evidence are strongly recommended).
Joining a designated Discord “table” is encouraged so a judge can observe gameplay in real time when possible.
If a player is found slow playing:
A match loss will be issued.
Repeat offenses within the same event may result in removal from the tournament.
Conduct
Any participant found disrespecting other players — especially judges — will be disqualified from the event. Repeat offenses will result in a ban from The Nightshades Battlefield series.
Check-In Policy
The play.limitlesstcg system automatically awards match losses to players who fail to check in before the timer expires.
Under no circumstances should a player award themselves a match win because they believe their opponent has not shown up. Doing so will result in a match loss.
If there is ever uncertainty, call a judge.
