Prizes
Winner decides the format of the next tournament! Back to back formats cannot be selected. Only formats natively available on TCG ONE may be selected.
Platform & Deck Submission
All matches will be played on TCGONE. Players must select the Expanded (Unbanned) format when importing their decks.
Decklists will be treated as open information. This mirrors the behavior of PTCGO, where an opponent’s deck is revealed at the start of a match.
Format & Card Legality
All Theme Decks from HeartGold & SoulSilver (HS) through Vivid Voltage (VIV) are considered legal, including online-exclusive theme decks.
However, due to limitations within TCGONE, HGSS-era cards cannot be imported in the Expanded (Unbanned) format. As a result, practical legality begins from the Black & White (BW) era onward.
This limitation does not meaningfully impact competitive play, as HGSS theme decks are significantly underpowered relative to later formats.
Legal Decks
A full list of legal Theme Decks can be found here under the Generation V, VI, VII, and VIII tabs, along with the Online Exclusive Theme Decks tab.
For convenience, a curated list of decks from the Sword & Shield era and the latter half of Sun & Moon which represent the majority of competitively viable options are included below in descending release order:

Spectating
Spectating must be enabled for all tournament matches. Players are allowed to spectate any match, but are asked not to comment on a match in progress in a way that could affect a player's decisions.
Late Players
In order to keep the tournament running, we ask players to begin their rounds as quickly as possible after they are posted. A player who has been queued for 5 minutes without an opponent must mark themselves the winner after confirming their opponent is not also queued.
Match Time Limits
To avoid unnecessary delays to the tournament, players may not extend match time if an opponent's game time expires. If your time expires, you lose the match, regardless of game state.
Game Crashes
Unfortunately, major errors—including game crashes—may occur during tournament play. If this happens, do not restart the match, as doing so may cause unnecessary delays or complicate resolution. Instead, immediately contact a tournament administrator.
Tournament staff will work to determine a resolution that is fair to all players. In cases where a game-breaking error affects all players (such as server outages or maintenance), the match will generally be ruled a draw. For errors that impact an individual match or player, the outcome and resolution will be determined at the discretion of tournament administration.
Tournament Conduct
UCS Mega Corp is committed to maintaining a welcoming, inclusive, and respectful environment for all participants. Racism, homophobia, transphobia, and any form of hate speech or discriminatory behavior will not be tolerated under any circumstances.
This includes, but is not limited to, comments made in chat, usernames, deck names, private messages related to the event, or any other conduct associated with tournament participation.
Engaging in prohibited behavior may result in immediate penalties, including but not limited to:
- A warning
- A forced drop from the tournament
- A ban from future UCS Mega Corp events
All disciplinary actions are at the sole discretion of tournament administration, based on the severity and context of the behavior. Repeated or severe violations may result in permanent bans without warning.
Players are expected to conduct themselves with sportsmanship and respect toward opponents, spectators, and tournament staff at all times.
