This is a free to enter tournament with a prize pool of $3500 (and rising!) that will be distributed amongst the top 16 players of the event. Exact ratio of the prizing payout will be announced at a later date once the prize pool total is locked in.

The official broadcast will take place on YouTube on the Skraw!VGC Youtube Channel

Luckily, Pokemon Champions has a spectator mode!! Players may be selected to be the feature match for the round, a match that will be on the official live stream and covered by our commentary team! We'll reach out to players who are selected each round before the round timer begins to set up the match.

The tournament will use regulation M-A the first official format of Pokemon Champions! We don't know what those rules entail just yet so stay tuned!

A discord server will be made public within the next week for the event. You are strongly encouraged to join the discord for live updates during the tournament.

Please note this tournament will be taking place over the course of two days, each day will start it's first round at 10am EST

The tournament will follow the structure of official Pokémon majors. Please consult this chart for a breakdown of rounds per day per number of players!

To the best of our ability, penalties for game rule violations and other infractions will be the same as they would be if they took place at a Pokémon Regional Championship. The only exceptions will be for issues relating to the online nature of the event.

We have several side incentives for those participating in the tournament!

Challenge the FESTIVAL LEADS

Certain players in the tournament will be designated as Festival Leads, if you run into one of these trainers, you'll be mailed a special sticker at the end of the event! There's an alternative sticker for if you beat a Festival Lead!

Enter the BEST DRESSED TEAM COMPETITION

Players will be able to submit the teams they enter the tournament with to be judged by our panel of rare Pokemon experts! Show off your shinies, your unique ribbons and marks, and just tell us the story behind your Pokémon that make it special to you! The finalists and winner of the Best Dressed Team Competition will be revealed during the top cut of the tournament, and the winner will receive a special prize. You must play at least 3 rounds of the tournament to be eligible to win the Best Dressed Team Competition

NOTE THIS DESCRIPTION WILL BE REGULARLY UPDATED FOR THE NEXT FEW WEEKS AS DETAILS OF POKEMON CHAMPIONS GET ANNOUNCED AND WE DETERMINE HOW BEST TO APPLY THEM TO THE TOURNAMENT
