Welcome to the 1st Alpensee Anniversary Tournament

This is our one year anniversary tournament.
We've been organizing weekly tournaments for over a year and want to celebrate this with an in-game tournament.
This will be a one-day tour with a total prize pool of 500€!

The remaining 50€ will be raffled away in the form of Champions Battle Passes between all participants that play the tour without dropping. Join the Discord server to be able to claim your prize and to receive pings for check-in and when a new round starts!

RULES

• Teamsheet errors will result in a game loss
• Failure to check-in will result in an automatic round loss
• Inappropriate or disrespectful behavior will result in a one-time warning or removal from the tournament if deemed necessary. Repeated offenses will result in a ban from all future Alpensee Tours

Format

• Played on Pokémon Champions!
• Regulation M-A
• All rounds Bo3
• Single Elimination Top-Cut
• Open Teamsheet (** Please make sure to double-check your Teamsheet before and after submitting it!**)
  • For Mega Pokémon, make sure to submit the base form with the base ability!
  • Note: There seems to be an issue where Floette-Eternal is not accepted by Limitless. In that case, please submit the Pokémon as Floette-Mega, but with the Flower Veil / Symbiosis ability.
• 5-minute check-in timer (Please remember to check-in before every round!)
• The next round will start a few minutes after everyone has finished playing

Connecting in Champions

• Coordinate with your opponent via Limitless on who creates a Private Lobby and share the code.
• If you are selected for a feature match, our stream coordinator will join the lobby as a spectator. You don't need to do anything special.
• Pokémon Champions allows for reconnection. If you disconnect but are able to rejoin the game in time, proceed to play out the game as usual!
• We created a simple guide on how to connect to your opponents. If there are any issues, please stay in the lobby until the judge call is resolved.

Regarding Bugs and Errors

Pokémon Champions is a new game and unknown bugs might occur during matches. If you feel like something went wrong in your game, please follow this procedure:

• Make a recording (either via your capture card or by holding the screenshot button)
• Play out the game as usual! You might have misread something or misjudged an interaction. Interrupting the game at this point will be counted as a forfeit.
• Call a judge as soon as the game has concluded. Depending on the severity of the bug, the game might be voided.
