It's the One-Year Anniversary of the Pingleton format!!
This tournament combines the rules of Singleton (only one card per name allowed) and Pauper (only 1-diamond and 2-diamond cards allowed). Players will have to compete with a deck that not only uses lower power cards, but also has no copies of them either.
However, with this being the B-Side, only B Series Pokemon are allowed!
- The Singleton rule applies to the name of the card. You cannot, for example, use a B1-Barraskewda and a B2-Barraskewda in the same deck.
- Trainer cards may be from any expansion, but are still limited to one copy each. (This includes Professor's Research and Poke Ball)
- B2b Cards are not allowed with how new they are.
Alternate printings are allowed in our events as long as they have the same name & function as a valid card per the rules above.
You must submit a decklist prior to the start time. You will use that deck for the duration of the event.
Swiss Rounds
Swiss System: You will be paired with a new opponent each round and your goal is to earn as many match/set wins as possible.
A match win is worth 1 point, and a loss or draw is worth 0 pts.
0-48 players : 4 Swiss Rounds / 3 Wins to advance
49-84 players : 5 Swiss Rounds / 4 Wins to advance
85-128 players : 6 Swiss Rounds / 5 Wins to advance
More than 128 Players : 7 Swiss Rounds : Top Cut of 16
Once a new round is paired all players will have 50 minutes to complete the match with their opponent.
You must CHECK IN within the first 5 minutes of each round. Players should be checking their dashboard at the end of the round in preparation for the next. If you fail to check in on time, the set will automatically be marked as a loss.
All Rounds will have Best-of-3 matches to determine the winner.
Top Cut
At the end of the Swiss phase, all players qualified to advance will compete in a single-elimination bracket. The players with the highest placements in the Swiss Rounds will receive a BYE should there be a non-perfect number of qualified players; they'll automatically advance to the second round of the Top Cut.
This elimination bracket will continue until there is only one player left, crowning them the winner of the event!

Submit your custom decklist via the dashboard. You can build your 20-card Pocket deck using the Deck Builder feature and copy/paste it into the decklist submission form.
Join us on Discord: You MUST join the Pocket Discord server. This will allow you to get the latest updates on the event and more easily contact your opponents.
Tournament Check In is required. A yellow "check in" button will appear on the dashboard 1 hour before the start of the event.
During Your Match
Late to Match: Players should begin playing within 5 minutes of both players checking-in. This, as well as slow-play for the sake of stalling the match, may result in a match loss should the match be incomplete by the time the round ends.
Incomplete Matches: Incomplete matches will be marked as a draw, resulting in neither player getting a point for that round. Should one player be primarily responsible for drawing out the match, the organizers may award the match to their opponent.
Connectivity Issues: It is our policy that each game that is started should count toward the match outcome. A game officially starts at the coin flip. If a player’s game becomes unresponsive due to internet or app issues, that player should accept the game loss. If players get an error during the initial match connection (before the coin flip), that game is not considered to have been started and you should try again with no impact to the match results.
Game Loss due to Incorrect Deck: If the player is using the wrong deck, they should take the loss for that single game and then complete the remainder of the best-of-3 match using the correct deck.
Tie Games: When a game ends in a 30-turn tie, the player who had more points gets credit for the win. If both players had the same number of points, replay that game. Should a second tie occur, both players will be awarded one game in the best-of-3 set. This award may decide a set.
Proof of Match Result: It is recommended that players take a screenshot of the victory screen for each game. You should keep these until the end of the tournament in case there is a dispute.
Tournament Eligibility & More
Illegal Decklist: If a player submits a deck that does not comply with the rules, they will not be able to compete. There are no changes to decklists once the event has started.
Dropping from the Event: If you no longer wish to be paired in future rounds, please go to your dashboard and click the red "Drop"button.
Dropped after Missed Check In: In order to have as many active pairings as possible each round, players who fail to check in on consecutive rounds should expect to be dropped. If you missed a check in by mistake but intend to continue playing in the event, please contact the organizer on Discord and let them know you would like to be paired in future rounds.
Player Autonomy: Each player is expected to use their own Pocket account to play (it should match the "in-game name" from your registration) and their own Discord account to communicate. Account sharing and/or the use of multiple accounts are prohibited.
Family Friendly Community: We welcome players of all ages. Please conduct yourself appropriately and keep discussions polite. Inappropriate content in the form of usernames, language used in chat, or any other context is subject to removal from the event.
Staff Rulings: Tournament staff has the authority to take any actions and make rulings consistent with the spirit of the game and in the best interest of fair play.
We coordinate our tournaments and communicate with players using the Pocket Discord server.
If you need help or have questions, we recommend you contact the event organizer: @Pinon

Your performance in this tournament earns you points on the Season 2 Leaderboard.
Players with 10+ points will earn entry into a special invitation-only event at the end of the season. The winning player in this event will automatically qualify!
