🏆 Tournament Structure

Swiss Rounds & Top Cut Advancement

We adapt based on turnout to deliver the best possible experience:

(We'll confirm the exact format once registration closes — announced in #tournament-announcements.)

•0–8 players → Tournament canceled (or too small to run properly)

•9–16 players → 4 rounds → Top 4 advance

•17–40 players → 5 rounds → Top 8 advance

•41–60 players → 5 rounds → Top 16 advance

•61–96 players → 6 rounds → Top 16 advance

•97–128 players → 6 rounds → Top 32 advance

•129–180 players → 7 rounds → Top 32 advance

•181-225 players → 7 rounds → Top 64 advance

•226 + players → 8 rounds → Top 64 advance

Scoring (same for all brackets):

•Win = 3 points

•Draw = 1 point

•Loss = 0 points

⚠️ Next Round – The next round starts when all matches are finished, not based on the timer. Announcements will be made on Discord if there are delays. Join our Discord server to get notified.

The top cut is a single-elimination bracket (Bo3 matches), with the exact number of players advancing shown above (e.g., Top 4, Top 8, etc.).

Note: Tie Gamerules

If Game one is a tie both players get 1 win each. If opponent wins game 2. They win match (game 3 doesn't need to be played in this case.)

In swiss bo1. Sudden death is played in ties. First to score a point wins.

⚖️ Tournament Policies

Respect & Fair Play
Be respectful at all times. Toxic behavior or offensive usernames = removal.

Deck Rules
Using a deck different from your submitted list = automatic loss.

Round 0 Wins
Wins before the coin flip or if the opponent isn’t online are not valid.
If the coin flip has started, the match is valid.

Match Results
Take a screenshot of the victory screen with time stamp in case of a dispute.

Incomplete Matches
If the match isn't finished before the round ends, it's a tie, unless one player is clearly at fault.

Connection Issues
If you disconnect due to app/internet, it's a loss, unless it happens before the coin flip.

Slow Play
If the time difference between players is over 5 minutes, take a screenshot and report it on Discord. The player can then claim a win.

Password Problems
If the given password doesn't work, both players must agree on a new one.

Late Check-In
If you miss check-in, it's your responsibility. A judge can help only if your opponent agrees to continue.
If a match starts without check-in, it can still continue. Judges may reset it if needed.

Intentional Tie
“To preserve the integrity of the Swiss progression in earlier rounds, intentional draws are not allowed until the final Swiss round, at which both players may agree to a draw.”

Calling a Judge
Judges make fair calls based on rules. If both players solve the issue, no judge is needed.

For this tournament we will be giving out FA TCG Pocket cards, so the prizes will be distributed in-game. You need to be in the Discord Server in order to receive the prize if you win. Please note that the card(s) will have to be traded to you, so you will need to have the right amount of shinedust and ★★ cards to complete the trade(s). If you win you need to reach out to us within 24 hours, if not the prize will be added to the next Power⚡League™ prize pool.
