🏆 Championship Structure

3 Rounds of Swiss → Semifinals → Finals

** Swiss**

• Best of 1
• 35 Minute rounds
• Ties Allowed

Top Cut

• Best of 3 matches
• 70 minute rounds

Every player completes three rounds before elimination.
So no one gets knocked out from a single bad matchup.

⏱ Time, Ties & Round Procedure

If all games in a round finish the next round may begin early and will be announced on stream & in Discord.

The official round timer displayed on Limitless is the governing time source for the event.

When Time Expires

• When the Limitless timer reaches 0:00, the match is considered complete.
• If a game is still in progress at that time, the match may result in a tie during Swiss
• Additional time may be granted if the match is being streamed or at a judges discretion.
• Players must report results immediately once the match concludes.

If a game completes within two minutes after time expires but the result cannot be entered before the timer closes, both players should screenshot the result and request a judge. The judge will determine whether the result stands based on timing and match context.

🟰 Ties

Ties occur when the round timer expires and no match winner has been determined.

Ties are permitted in Swiss rounds only.

Top Cut matches cannot end in a tie.
If time expires in Top Cut and no winner has been determined, play will continue until a match winner is decided.

All final rulings regarding time and match outcomes are at the discretion of the judge.

⏳ Time Extensions

Time extensions may be granted at the discretion of a judge in cases including but not limited to:

• Technical issues
• Client freezing
• Judge investigations
• Disconnect resolution

Extensions are not guaranteed and will be applied only when appropriate.

🌐 In-Game Issues & Disconnects

If a disconnect, freeze, crash, or client issue occurs, players must immediately call a judge.

Rulings will be made at the discretion of the judge based on:

• Game state
• Number of turns played
• Competitive integrity

If a disconnect occurs before or during the first two turns, players may be instructed to restart the match under judge supervision.

📸 Match Proof

It is strongly recommended that players screenshot their victory screen.

Unless both players confirm a tie or time-based exit in chat, the victory screen will be used as the determining result.

🎥 Streaming & Coverage

You may stream your matches on any platform.

A stream delay is strongly recommended.
Receiving outside assistance may result in penalties.

Select matches may be featured live on the official TripleBtcg broadcast.

🤝 Competitive Integrity

Play at a reasonable pace.
Respect your opponent.

Intentional slow play is not tolerated.
If slow play is suspected, call a judge immediately.

Players may be asked to share their screen or provide match evidence if a ruling requires further review.
All rulings are at judge discretion.
